An arrangement of a wheel segment is further protected at a support jack. The aim of the invention, among others, is to produce a wheel segment in a cost-effective manner while maintaining equal stability. Said aim is attained according to the invention by a wheel segment that is produced as a one-piece casting.

A connector bracket for a trailer vehicle of a tractor trailer is described, comprising a support frame which can swivel on a bearing about a coupling means and a connector arranged stationary on the support frame. The problem on which the invention is based was to provide a connector bracket on the trailer that lessens the risk of damage to the connector from components of the tractor. The problem is solved, among other things, with a connector bracket in which the connector is at least partly covered by the coupling means in the lengthwise axis of the vehicle and a guide ramp is formed in front of the connector and tilting toward the connector at least during the coupling process.

A displacement device for a fifth wheel traction coupling with two base bars and a fifth wheel traction coupling supporting top part which includes two bearing chocks which are slidingly fixed to the base bars and telescoping in a locked position thereof into each base bar by means locking elements with the aid of a rack rail. The known per se sliding devices are expensive due to the production of the base bars, since the rack rails are provided with a toothed profile prior to be welded. A low-cost sliding device is producible in a simple manner. For this purpose, at least one base bar is provided with spaced rest windows on the axial extension thereof for receiving the locking elements.

A coupling aid for connecting at least one supply line between a first vehicle and a second vehicle which can be coupled to the first by means of a coupling. The coupling aid comprises a supply bracket mounted on the second vehicle and used to receive the at least one supply line which can be moved by means of a drive from a driving position (A) in the longitudinal axis of the vehicle into an operating position (B) lateral to the driving position. The aim of the invention is to improve a known coupling system for the supply lines in such a way that the coupling of the supply lines is even faster and more comfortable. To this end, the coupling is provided with at least one first sensor for detecting the locking state and the movement of the supply bracket is triggered by a signal from the first sensor.

The invention relates to a fifth wheel coupling comprising essentially a fifth wheel plate (1) and a pair of pillow blocks (2) for the attachment on the frame of a truck tractor. The fifth wheel plate (1) pivots around an axis (3) in relation to the pillow blocks (2) and on its underside, is equipped with a pair of hollow cylindrical bearing troughs (5), while the pillow blocks (2) have corresponding cylindrical bearing surfaces (8). Below the bearing surface (8), the pillow block (2) is equipped with an eye (9) for the penetration of an attachment bridge (7). The invention has the object of reducing the weight of fifth wheel couplings of this type and to lower the manufacturing cost without thereby complicating the assembly or having to omit an adjustment to differing mounting widths. The solution proposes on the one hand, the manufacture of the pillow blocks (2) as one piece from a casting with a vertical mounting flange (13) to permit the direct lateral attachment to longitudinal members (14) of the truck tractor; and on the other hand, the use of bearing shells (6) with side walls (16, 17) of differing thickness, in order to be able to implement a closely stepped, if necessary also continuous adjustment within the framework of a separately specified coarsely stepped adjustment to given mounting widths. The measures according to the invention have the advantage that on the one hand, the required bores in the longitudinal members may be transferred from the flanges to the web which undergoes less stress and that on the other hand, the continuous or closely stepped width adjustment is switched to the bearing shells which are most often manufactured of synthetic materials and thus are easier to work on. Furthermore, this leads to a more favorable and always defined flux of force, because the bearing forces are transmitted via the fifth wheel plate (1) and the pillow blocks (2) directly to the web area of the longitudinal members (14).

A landing gear for semitrailers has a leg the upper end of which is connected with the semitrailer and the lower end of which is connected with a ground contacting member by a load transmitting device which can turn relative to the leg about a horizontal axis back and forth to opposite sides of a neutral portion and has a part cylindrical shell which can roll on a skid between two upstranding sidewalls of the ground contacting member. The axial ends of the shell are connected with end walls which are inwardly adjacent the sidewalls and carry followers serving to track V-shaped cam slots in the adjacent sidewalls. The load transmitting device is biased to the neutral position by two leaf springs which are located at opposite sides of the pivot axis for the load transmitting device and each of which is separably connected to the leg as well as to the skid. The springs are accessible, at least in the neutral position of the load transmitting device, and extend through a circumferentially extending window in the shell. The load transmitting device and the ground contacting member can be made of metallic sheet stock.

A telescopic supporting device for heavy loads of trailers is disclosed which device has a supporting leg projecting from a guiding tube and on the lower end of the supporting leg there is detachably fastened an articulated foot. The foot features a supporting plate which has fastened thereto a holding ring. The lower terminal section of the supporting leg has a ground plate that overlaps the lower edge to laterally jut out. A coupling articulately connects the holding ring with the supporting leg, the coupling being provided with a bolt system traversing diametral circular holes. An elastic compression body is placed between the ground plate and a supporting plate. The upper terminal section of the holding ring overlaps the laterally jutting-out edge section of the ground plate. The supporting leg and the ground plate are separated. To the ground plate there is fastened a supporting tubular sleeve, that fits within the leg. The bolt system transverses diametral circular holes in the supporting sleeve wall and the bolt system is countersunk in circular holes in the supporting leg wall.
