    摘要: A system and method for controlling a trajectory of a vehicle includes a crew seat with first and second inceptors mounted to a portion of the crew seat; a processor with memory having instructions stored thereon that cause the system to: receive signals indicative of a trajectory for the vehicle; receive signals indicative of a deviation in a trajectory of the vehicle; and transmit signals for controlling a flight path of the vehicle. A second inceptor is configured for selecting one or more menus on a user display and being configured to interact with a fly-by-wire control system for transmitting signals indicative of movement of flight surface of the vehicle. The crew seat is configured to be located on the vehicle, in a control station remotely located from the vehicle, or in a second vehicle remotely located from the vehicle.

    摘要: The system contains the active inceptor having mobility in a first direction. A feedback mechanism is in communication with the active inceptor. The mechanism provides a variable level of force to the active inceptor in the first direction. A programmable device communicates with the feedback mechanism. The programmable device controls the level of force provided to the active inceptor from the feedback mechanism. The programmable device is capable of recognizing and distinguishing between regimes wherein the operator is physically engaging the inceptor (“hands-on” state) and when the operator is “hands-off” the inceptor. The programmable device limits the maximum rate of displacement of an active inceptor to a specified safe and effective value regardless of changes in forces applied by the variable force feel feedback mechanism. The limit on rate of change of active inceptor position is varied based on the recognized “hands-on” or “hands-off” state and the type of tactile cue to satisfy otherwise conflicting requirements for failure robustness and effective tactile cueing during highly dynamic operations.

    摘要: A heliplane operates with a fixed wing at high velocities, and particularly at high advance ratios, while using a rotary wing maintained in motion at all speeds. At high advance ratios, the rotor wing eventually may be rotated primarily to maintain its stability, rather than depending upon the majority of lift. Meanwhile, a collective pitch control is provided and located between pilot and copilot. A single control provides control of both collective pitch and throttle by both pilots. One pilot will have to operate the control with the left hand, while the other may use their right hand. Nevertheless, both throttles push away from the pilot, regardless of which one is in control of the aircraft, while a single collective lever is relied upon.
