Abstract:
The invention concerns an electrical plug connector with an insulating contact carrier that contains a number of electrical contacts in the form of contact pins or contact sockets that are arranged parallel to each other, and which can be inserted axially into a plug connector housing, with the contacts being accessible from the front side of the contact carrier, and with the contacts having connecting elements on a rear side of the contact carrier for a connection with electrical power supply lines. The invention proposes to divide the plug connector housing in the insertion direction into a front and a rear housing section that are connected to a hinge joint by means of a swivel axle that is oriented orthogonally to the insertion direction. In a straightened operating position of the plug connector housing, the axially inserted contact carrier that at least partially engages the two housing section and is in lateral contact with said housing sections at least is some sections reliably prevents the swiveling of the housing sections and therefore the opening of the plug connector housing.
Abstract:
An electric appliance has a first terminal and a second terminal electrically connected to the first terminal. The first terminal has a soldering portion for soldering the second terminal thereon. The soldering portion has a smooth face and a rough face disposed on one imaginary plane. The rough face has a flat portion and a plurality of concavities disposed on the flat portion at intervals. Further, the soldering portion may have a through hole adjacent to the rough face to insert the second terminal. The first terminal is embedded in an insulator. The insulator has an opening exposing the soldering portion therein. The insulator includes a frame forming a housing of an electric appliance. A seal seals a connection gap at a margin of the frame in the housing. A partition wall may be disposed between the soldering portion and the seal.
Abstract:
A three-phase connector carries all three phases in one connector and keeps the phases properly isolated from each other and the motor case. The three-phase connector has metal connector components that are spaced from one another and supported in a nylon over molding covering each of the connector components, except for upper and lower exposed ends of the connector components, which are each drilled and tapped to receive bolts. First and second connector components extend above and below a flange of the three-phase connector with their respective exposed upper and lower ends offset in different planes than the exposed upper and lower ends of the third connector component.
Abstract:
A terminal protecting cap for containing a terminal fitting, includes a base member and a capping member. The base member includes a bottom face, on which the terminal fitting is placed, and a peripheral wall, extended from the bottom face so as to surround the terminal fitting. The capping member has a projecting portion, connected to the base member by a hinge, and rotating so as to cover an upper side of the base member. The projecting portion prevents a cover movement of the capping member with respect to the base member by abutting against the terminal fitting when the terminal fitting is placed on a improper position of the bottom face.

Abstract:
An electric terminal assembly, particularly for heremetic compressors, comprising a plurality of conductor pins extending through a metal body member and secured thereto by glass-to-metal seals is provided with sleeves of insulating material surrounding the pins and a body of resinous material anchoring the sleeves to the body member and covering the glass seals.
Abstract:
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush having a support and a plurality of conductive fibers fitted inside the support and a brush fitting plate connected with the support of the brush. The fitting plate includes a plurality of retention tongues retention of the support of the brush, a radial portion and a plurality of lugs which extend from the radial portion and which define the outer diameter of the fitting plate. At least one local deformation is formed on one of the lugs of the fitting plate and extends radially inwardly toward the interior of the grounding brush assembly.
Abstract:
A cover device includes a terminal receiving portion and a terminal member while the terminal member is received in the terminal receiving portion. In the terminal member, a third wall connects between one end portion of a first wall, which is directed in an inserting direction of a motor terminal into the terminal receiving portion, and one end portion of a second wall, which is directed in the inserting direction. A length of the third wall, which is measured in a direction directed from a first connection between the first wall and the third wall to a second connection between the second wall and the third wall, is longer than a distance between the first connection and a second inner peripheral surface of the terminal receiving portion and is longer than a length between the second connection and a first inner peripheral surface of the terminal receiving portion.
