摘要: In the manufacturing of stator vanes for the first stage of a multi-stage axial flow gas turbine, casting difficulty and casting cost are reduced by making a separate casting for each vane instead of making segmental groups of vanes which are costly due to a high casting rejection rate. The vanes are supported by grooved holding blocks attached to the blade ring of the turbine, and they are readily assembled or removed. An improved cooling system is provided for the vanes which are of a hollow construction.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the production of machine parts which are at least partially provided with a mineral casting. The mineral casting is carried out in a liquid state in at least one part of a housing element (1, 2) of the machine part acting as a casting mould, such that the mineral casting, after hardening, forms a lining element adapted to the inner contour of the housing element (1, 2). The aim of the invention is to enable the mineral cast lining elements (5) to be adapted as accurately as possible to the inner contour of the outer housing (1, 2) without any risk of destroying the mineral cast body (5) occurring when pumps are produced or operated. According to the invention, the inner surfaces of the housing element (1, 2) are treated with a separating means (3) prior to the casting out operation.

摘要: A method to influence material flow during the injection molding of thermoplastic, polymeric ring type fans such that a major portion of the materials flowing in opposite directions preferably flow past one another, or collide at an angle relative to one another, rather than colliding at an 180 degree angle relative to each other to form weld lines. This flow bypassing results in better material mixing or integrating than merely allowing flow fronts to collide and cool. In one embodiment, a portion of the fan's ring is thickened in the weld line area to minimize the amount of material colliding at a 180-degree angle relative to each. Alternatively, at least one appendage could be added to the ring fan that will influence the material flow during molding conditions. Each appendage will be removed prior to introducing the ring fan to a cooling system.

摘要: A turbine blade/vane includes a profiled blade/vane aerofoil, which extends along a blade/vane center line. A platform is formed on an end region of the blade/vane aerofoil, extending transverse to the blade/vane center line. This is to be designed for a particularly high capability for carrying thermal and mechanical loading. In addition, the arrangement permits reliable cooling with a comparatively small coolant requirement. For this purpose, the platform includes an outer rim which is thickened in comparison with the platform floor. The side wall of the outer rim facing toward the blade/vane center line is slanted relative to the latter. A casting system suitable for manufacturing the turbine blade/vane includes a first shell element which can be positioned in a casting mold, an essentially flat configuration second shell element being displaceable, while being guided in a direction tilted by an angle of more than 10° and of less than 80°, in the first shell element.

摘要: A water, pump includes a driven portion, a shaft connected to the driven portion, an impeller connected to the shaft, and a body supporting the driven portion for relative rotation therewith. The water pump is characterized in that the driven portion and the shaft are formed integrally by resin molding, and an outer surface of the bearing is fixed to the driven portion.
