Abstract:
A transportable rig apparatus provides single operator control for moving pipe into and out of a wellbore. A transportable control van houses the operator. A rig carrier is utilized to transport the mast. A pipe tong is mounted in the mast and is remotely operable from the control van. Rig blocks which move up and down in the mast are remotely operable from control van. A skid mounted pipe moving member moves pipe to the mast assembly and away from the mast assembly. The pipe moving member remotely is operable from the control van. A pipe tub stores pipe and a pipe tub transfer system is operable for moving pipe from the pipe tub to the pipe moving member and for moving pipe from the pipe moving member to the pipe tub.
Abstract:
A camera module has an image sensor and a lens assembly that includes a lens barrel having a first cylindrical portion that includes an externally threaded portion and a second cylindrical portion that has a larger diameter than the externally threaded portion. A lens moving mechanism includes a movable sleeve having internal threads that receive the externally threaded portion of the lens assembly. The lens moving mechanism is coupled to the image sensor such that the second cylindrical portion of the lens assembly is closest to the image sensor. The camera module is assembled by inserting the lens assembly into the lens moving mechanism from the side closest to the image sensor. An installation tool may engage the second cylindrical portion to rotate the lens assembly and engage the threaded portions. Features may be provided to retain the lens assembly in the lens moving mechanism before joining the threaded portions.
Abstract:
A coil retainer is configured for securing a metal coil to a support surface using tension lines. The coil retainer includes a core insert extending about an arc and configured to be inserted into a hollow core of the metal coil so that an exterior of the core insert supports an inner surface of the coil along a portion of the inner surface. A coil side containment wall extends along the arc of the core insert and projects radially outward from the core insert. The coil side containment wall is configured to support a flat side of the metal coil. A cross beam extends across the arc of the core insert. Attached to the cross beam is at least one chain guide configured to guide a tension line over the cross beam and at least one chain mount configured to secure a tension line to the coil retainer.
Abstract:
A system for attaching a wall panel includes a wall panel and a lock strip. The wall panel has a back and a tab extending from the back. The lock strip is moveably attached to a wall frame member, and has a three-position locking slot, including a receiving portion configured to receive the tab, a locking portion configured to lock the tab with respect to the frame member, and a release portion configured to release the tab. The wall panel is removably attachable to the frame member by inserting the tab into the receiving portion and linearly moving the lock strip to lock the tab in the locking portion. The system can be used for attaching interior sidewall panels in an aircraft.
Abstract:
A ground engaging machine includes a first and a second frame unit, and an articulation hitch coupling together the first and second frame units. The articulation hitch includes a pin, a first and a second bearing positioned about the pin, and abutting a first and a second axial side of an annular protrusion of a hitch plate in one of the first and second frame units. A clamping mechanism of the articulation hitch clamps the first and second bearings between first and second clamping components, such that they are preloaded against the annular protrusion.
Abstract:
A device for protecting one or more credit or charge cards from radio frequency scanning is disclosed. The device comprises a planar element sized for fitting within a card slot of a personal carrying accessory, wherein the planar element is composed of an uncharged, conductive material and wherein the planar element inhibits the transmission of radio frequency signals.
Abstract:
An insulated dielectric window assembly comprising a dielectric window of an inductively coupled plasma processing apparatus; an upper polymeric ring, and a lower polymeric ring. The upper polymeric ring insulates the outer edge of the dielectric window from a cooler ambient atmosphere and the lower polymeric ring insulates the lower surface of the dielectric window from a chamber surface supporting the window.
Abstract:
An eavestrough cover comprising a plurality of pieces of a foraminous material lying in an end to end relationship to cover an eavestrough, a first end of a first piece of the foraminous material having a slot formed therein, a second end of a second piece of foraminous material being placed within the slot such that there are formed respective underlying/overlying portions of the first and second pieces of foraminous material.
Abstract:
An embodiment of a hand guard for a firearm, such as a rifle, includes an elongated tubular housing comprising an upper part, a lower part, opposite open ends, and a lumen configured to receive an intermediate portion of a barrel of a firearm longitudinally therein. An expansion collar is disposed at one end of the housing. The expansion collar has an expansion mechanism configured to adjustably compress the expansion collar and the lower part of the housing longitudinally between a pair of surfaces respectively disposed at opposite ends of the intermediate portion of the barrel.
Abstract:
In one aspect, a fluid storage apparatus includes a fluid storage tank having a longitudinal axis. The apparatus also includes a channel disposed on an outer surface of the fluid storage tank, the channel configured to receive an anchor strap used to secure the fluid storage tank to a ground surface of an underground installation site.
