Abstract:
Proposed is a paper gathering and feeding method, a device therefor, and a rotation member acting sufficiently also on any deformed notes at the time of gathering, and at the time of feeding, feeding is not prevented irrespective of the plasticity deformation, and an object thereof is to reduce the exchange frequency and maintenance of the rotation member, extend the continuous operation time of the paper gathering and feeding device, and realize comprehensive reduction of production cost, service cost, and the like. With respect to a paper gathering and feeding method or a device therefor performing a gathering process for dropping paper to be transferred in a transfer section to gather the same in a gathering section, and a feeding process for feeding the paper gathered in the gathering section to the transfer section, a rotation member provided with a changeable piece changeable with a radius distance between a tip section and a rotation axis is provided in the vicinity of a coupling section between the transfer section and the gathering section, and at the time of the gathering process, the rotation member is so formed as to rotate in a gathering direction to slap down the paper using the changeable piece with the wider radius distance, and at the time of the feeding process, the rotation member rotates in a feeding direction to perform the feeding allowance operation to allow the paper to be fed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sheet conveying apparatus comprising a conveying means for conveying a sheet to a prescribed position, a pair of reverse-discharge rotating members capable of rotating forward and reverse for feeding the sheet to the conveying means by switchback and an electricity removal means for removing electricity from the conveyed sheet. The switchback serves to feed a sheet having a maximum conveyable length from the pair of reverse-discharge rotating members to the conveying means and the electricity removal means is arranged nearer toward a sheet discharging direction than a cross over position for a front edge of the sheet and a back edge of the sheet during discharge of the sheet after having passed the prescribed position, and passed the pair of reverse-discharge rotating members again.
Abstract:
A sheet feed image scanning apparatus comprises a sheet feeding unit mounted to an image scanning unit. The sheet feeding unit has a casing that comprises the mount of a sheet conveyor assembly to convey a document sheet along a conveyance path that passes over a scanning window. The sheet conveyor assembly comprises a motor-driven central conveyor roller and a plurality of idler rollers mounted in circumferential contact with the central conveyor roller. The document introduced in the sheet feeding unit engages between the central conveyor roller and the idler rollers to be conveyed over the scanning window, through which the scanning unit captures an image of the document sheet.
Abstract:
A sheet finishing apparatus has a stacking tray for stacking sheets formed with indicia, a processing tray established in the process to said stacking tray for receiving said sheets, a movable aligning plate established on said processing tray that moves traverse to the direction of discharge of said sheets. The system has a plurality of aligning operations. The first aligning operation has a distance of L1 from the aligning position of the movable aligning plate to the first aligning operation starting position. The last aligning operation a distance of L2 from the aligning position of the movable aligning plate to the final aligning operation starting position. The relationship between these distances is L1>L2 for the last sheet of a plurality of sheets in a set. A first and a second aligning operation are performed on each of a set of sheets wherein the distance from the aligning position in the second aligning operation to the aligning start position is L3, the relationships between these distances being L1>L2>L3.
Abstract:
A sheet supply tray and a sheet discharge tray are provided. Long sheets can be supplied from the sheet supply tray loaded with the long sheets. The sheet discharge tray is used also as the sheet supply tray, and receives the long sheets with a sheet discharge surface thereof in an area facing the sheet loading surface of the sheet supply tray. A discharge guide unit for guiding the discharge direction of the long sheets is detachably provided in such a dual-purpose type sheet discharge unit. A discharge/reception unit supporting the long sheets is detachably provided as a whole or a part of the sheet discharge unit. An extension sheet tray extensible with respect to a standard sheet tray is provided while the extension state of the extension sheet tray can be detected by an extension detection unit.
Abstract:
A reverse sheet feeding scanning device for scanning a stack of sheets from the Nth sheet to the first sheet. The scanning device includes a body with a sheet feeding unit and a scanning unit received therein. By the arrangement of putting the scanning unit on the feeding path of the sheets and the change of direction of the sheets, the scanned images can be printed by the printer and the first sheet is located on the top and the Nth sheet is located at the bottom of the stack of the sheets. The printed sides face upward so that the users need not to arrange the sheets and achieve the purpose of convenience.
Abstract:
A document-ejecting/feeding mechanism is assembled inside an automatic document feeder, includes a driving device, gears, one-way clutches and rollers. After feeding action is canceled, the driving device is reversed and cooperates with the action of gears and one-way clutches, and at least one of rollers that near the paper-ejecting position is still rolled to the paper ejecting direction. Therefore, after the feeding action is canceled, the document will be still moved out from the feeder automatically and not tore.
Abstract:
A paper collecting device, comprising a separation roller, a drive roller, a feed roller, a support member, and an elastic member. In addition to the separation having a one-way clutch, the feed roller also has an extra one-way clutch added between the feed gear and the feed rim. When the paper separation process stops and the separation roller instantaneously reverses rotation, the two one-way clutches will disengage and allow the separation roller and feed roller to detach from the driving source of the motor. This will allow the separation roller and feed roller to rotate freely and possess the same tangential velocity to prevent paper from being pushed or pulled causing paper wrinkle or tear. Moreover, the diameter of the feed rim is smaller in design than the separation rim. The paper collecting device also comprising a paper blocking mechanism located on the support member above the frame to prevent paper overly pushed inside.
Abstract:
A stack control mechanism comprising a mechanism for feeding and accumulating sheets to an accumulating area. A control mechanism for controlling the feeding of the sheets to the accumulating area which includes emitting an impulse or vibration onto that stack ad receiving vibrations or impulses which are reflected from the stack. The feeding mechanism is responsive to the controlling mechanism to adjust to rate of feeding of sheets to the accumulating area.
Abstract:
A bill handling apparatus has a deposit/withdrawal unit (2) at the inner upper side of a casing (1), a base unit (3) at the inner lower side of the casing (1), and intermediate units (4A-4C) between the units (2) and (3). The deposit/withdrawal unit (2) includes a bill introducing mechanism (21), a bill discharging mechanism (23) and a conveying mechanism (29). The base unit (3) includes a bill storage section (31), a conveying mechanism (32) and a taking-in and taking-out mechanism (34). Each of the intermediate units (4A-4C) includes a bill storage section (41), a conveying mechanism (42), a taking-in and taking-out mechanism (44) and a switcher for switching a bill-moving direction. In this way, the elements forming the bill storage sections and transfer mechanisms are made common, the number of bill storage sections can be increased or decreased easily, and bills can be taken in and out of each storage section.
