摘要： A cylindrical lock with tumbler and driver pins opened or closed by a cylindrical key in which a cylindrical plug is provided with one row or several rows of ".phi."-shaped tumbler pins and the lock body is provided with corresponding driver pins of diversified shapes in equivalent rows. When the lock is closed, the driver pins brake the cylindrical plug at the lock body and thus cannot be rotated. In order to open the lock, the cylindrical key bar is inserted in the key hole of the plug. The key bar is formed with grooves of suitable angle. When the cylindrical key bar is rotated in the key hole, the grooves on the key bar will back up the ".phi."-shaped tumbler pins to the periphery of the plug while pushing the driver pins from the plug into said lock body to make the plug free from said lock body. The cylindrical key bar with special designed angled grooves will apply pressure to the ".phi."-shaped tumbler pins engaging with said plug so as to actuate the lock latch. Outside the plug, lock body and the diversified driver and tumbler pins of said lock, one set of protecting ring and protecting plate is provided to hide the plug within said lock body to make no forcible points therein so as to reduce the possibility of opening by the thief.

摘要： A barrel key apparatus wherein there is a handle section attached to a cylindrically shaped tubular section, within the cylindrically shaped tubular section there is located a plurality of spaced apart elongated grooves which are of the same length and extend from the outer free end of the tubular section. Within each of the grooves there may be selectively located one of a group of different length push pins. At the inner end of each groove is located an opening extending to the interior of the tubular section. The push pin includes an attaching means comprising a plurality of spaced apart annular ridges successively connected together along a single longitudinal axis. The attaching means is to be inserted within the opening at the end of the groove with the under surface configuration of the push pin matingly cooperating within the groove and the outer surface of the push pin cooperating with the outer surface of the tubular section to form a flush, smoothly contoured surface. The attaching means is such that it prevents withdrawal of the push pin once it has been inserted without destroying or damaging the pin.

The lock has a keyhole in an extent of the opening. A key receiving seat is movable along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis between a first position received in the movable body and a second position at least partially outside of the movable body. A linking rod is extended into the movable seat. A key can be placed into a key receiving hole of the key receiving seat in the second position and then moved into the movable body to engage with the linking rod when the key receiving seat moves to the first position. The key is movable into the keyhole by moving the linking rod along the first axis and is rotatable for a locking or unlocking operation.
