    摘要: A hose coupling for use with a faucet, including an upright rod which is adapted for vertical motion in response to the water pressure in the hose. When the water pressure in the hose is normal, the upright rod moves to the upper limit of its range of travel, and slightly projects upward beyond a valve seat, pushing up a steel ball valve, and allowing the water to be discharged from the hose tip. If the water pressure in the hose increases abnormally, the upright rod retracts downward and allows the ball valve to fit on the valve seat.

    摘要: A sleeve having first and second interior surface portions. The first surface portion is threaded and communicates with one open end of the sleeve, and the second surface portion is smooth and communicates with the opposite open end of the sleeve. A bore is formed through the sleeve and the second surface portion thereof, and a set screw is threaded into the bore. The sleeve is first slipped, and then threaded, onto a first conduit, the conduit being first received by the smooth interior surface and then by the threaded interior surface. The end of a second conduit is then disposed adjacent the sleeve, and the sleeve is screwed back off the first conduit onto the second conduit until the first conduit is received by the smooth interior surface and the second conduit by the threaded interior surface. The set screw is threaded against the first conduit.

    摘要: A pipe-joining centering device aligns, with an axial center of one pipe, an axial center of another pipe when a spigot of the other pipe is to be inserted into a socket of the one pipe. The pipe-joining centering device includes a support member configured to support an end part of the spigot. The support member is tiltable in a pipe radial direction between an inner peripheral surface of the socket and an outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The pipe-joining centering device also includes a position adjustment member configured to tilt the support member in the pipe radial direction. The support member and the position adjustment member are supported on the inner peripheral surface of the socket.

    摘要: The present invention provides a rigid modular holding with axial and radial compensation for multiple and universal application of all machining processes, engineering, machine building, and construction fields where ever applicable for rotary and static systems. Design of modular holding includes male and female portions (401,301) of joining parts machined to the required shape and clearances to accommodate modular locking rigidly with face butting (407, 308). Radial and axial run out adjustments is controlled by the grub screws (307, 306) and run out compensation can be achieved within micron. An Area used for clamping and designed within the area of joining parts results reduction in material and processing cost. Since, the material is not protruding out from the surface of the joining parts, esthetically looks good and convenient for designing multiple applications as it is not possible at present.

    摘要: A connector assembly for connecting two members that allows manual lockdown to prevent accidental disengagement. The connector assembly can be used to connect a tension ring to a housing on a riser by using a lower set of hydraulically actuated dogs. A set of upper hydraulically actuated dogs on the connector assembly can be used to connect the tension ring to a diverter housing mounted on a rig. The connector assembly also has position indicators that ride along with the dogs to indicate whether the dogs are in the engaged or disengaged position.

    摘要: A threaded tubular joint comprising male and female members is provided. The ends of the male members comprise an upper portion and a lower portion located between an upper threaded portion and an inner surface of each of the male ends. The upper portion is formed by a thread bevel which transitions into a first rounded area and the lower portion is formed by a second rounded area. A reversibly deformable ring may be housed in about the center of the joint. When the male members are substantially engaged within the joint, the ring is compressed by the ends of the male members. This configuration provides geometric continuity within the inner surface of the joint, and the corrosion protection barrier of the inner lining of the tube.
