摘要: A track light assembly includes a low-voltage track. A light module comprises an elongated thermally conductive housing fitted over the track. The housing may also surround the track. The housing preferably forms an elongated channel. An elongated printed circuit board (PCB) is mounted on the thermally conductive housing and carries a plurality of clusters of light emitting diodes (LED's) distributed over the PCB surface. An elongated lens is fitted over the PCB and LED clusters. A track adapter attached to an end portion of the track includes electrically conductive contacts for electrically coupling the conductors in the track housing with contacts on the printed circuit board. Thus, a cool running, elongated, linear light module is provided which is adjustably placeable along the length of the track.

摘要: A shelf lighting system (10) is disclosed which includes a pair of vertical mounting rails (11) and a plurality of horizontal shelves (12) coupled to the mounting rails through mounting brackets (13). Each vertical mounting rail has a outwardly facing side wall (16), a front wall (17), and inwardly facing side step wall (18), a rear step wall (19), and an inwardly facing side bracket wall (20). As such, the inwardly facing side bracket wall is recessed behind the front wall so that it is hidden from view. Each shelf has a pair of slots (32) extending into the shelf and one or more light sources (36) positioned within the shelf to provide light. The light source(s) has a pair of electrical conductors (37) which extend through holes (38) passing through the shelf and which terminate with contacts (39). Each metal mounting bracket has an elongated horizontal tongue (41) which extends to a mounting portion (42). The tongue is sized and shaped to be received within the slot of the shelf. Electricity passes through the rails, through the brackets, and through the conductors so as to energize the light source(s).

摘要: The invention relates a directionally adjustable low-voltage lamp comprising a concave reflector to reflect the light as a cone and having a base with a two-pole plug molded thereon. However, such lamp needs complex holders if it is desired to direct the light coming from the lamp in any desired direction. The object of the invention is to provide a directionally adjustable low-voltage lamp being able to be secured at any desired point on sheeting or boards so that the light cone from the lamp may be adjusted in any desired direction. This object is attained by that, that the holder of the lamp is made of two rotary discs which are separated from each other by an insulating disc and are made of electrically conducting material, the central pivot axis of the swivel joint being defined by an axial pin of electrically non-conducting material which is bearinged on the two sides in bearing members of electrically conducting material with a certain degree of axial preloading, and rods of electrically conducting material are secured in these bearing members, such rods being connected with an electrical supply and extending perpendicular to the axia of swivel of the swivel joint and the other ends of such rods being supported in holes in holding members with a frictional engagement so as to be freely rotatable and axially displaceable.

摘要: An adapter for use in a track lighting system is designed to be inserted into a track. The track has an electrical conductor means with conductors, the adapter has contact elements, and when the adapter is in an inserted state, contact can be made with the conductors by means of the contact elements. The contact elements can be moved into a contacting position, in which they protrude from the adapter so that they can be connected to the conductors, and into a non-contacting position, in which the adapter can be retracted into or removed from the track. The movement of the contact elements between the contacting position and the non-contacting position can be brought about by an operator by means of a moveably arranged actuating element of the adapter.
