摘要: An illumination device and method are provided herein for calibrating individual LEDs in the illumination device to obtain a desired luminous flux and a desired chromaticity of the device over changes in drive current, temperature, and over time as the LEDs age. The calibration method may include subjecting the illumination device to a first ambient temperature, successively applying at least three different drive currents to a first LED to produce illumination at three or more different levels of brightness, obtaining a plurality of optical measurements from the illumination produced by the first LED at each of the at least three different drive currents, obtaining a plurality of electrical measurements from the photodetector and storing results of the obtaining steps within the illumination device to calibrate the first LED at the first ambient temperature. The plurality of optical measurements may generally include luminous flux and chromaticity, the plurality of electrical measurements may generally include induced photocurrents and forward voltages, and the calibration method steps may be repeated for each LED included within the illumination device and upon subjecting the illumination device to a second ambient temperature.

摘要: A data generation method is for generating video data that covers a second luminance dynamic range wider than a first luminance dynamic range and has reproduction compatibility with a first device that does not support reproduction of video having the second luminance dynamic range and supports reproduction of video having the first luminance dynamic range, and includes: generating a video signal to be included in the video data using a second OETF; storing, into VUI in the video data, first transfer function information for identifying a first OETF to be referred to by the first device when the first device decodes the video data; and storing, into SEI in the video data, second transfer function information for identifying a second OETF to be referred to by a second device supporting reproduction of video having the second luminance dynamic range when the second device decodes the video data.

摘要: A mounting frame may be configured as a self-adjusting mounting frame that biases itself against a surface of structure. The mounting frame may be a component, for example, of a remote control device or a faceplate assembly. The mounting frame may be configured to bias a rear surface of the mounting frame against the surface of a structure. The mounting frame may include biasing members. Each biasing member may include an attachment portion and a pair of resilient spring arms that suspend the attachment portion relative to a perimeter wall of the mounting frame such that the attachment portion is spaced further from the rear surface of the mounting frame than locations where the spring arms extend from the mounting frame. The rear surface of the mounting frame may be defined by the perimeter wall.

摘要: A lighting system includes a lighting device arranged to attach to a vehicle. The lighting device includes at least two ultraviolet lights and at least one sensor. The sensor determines whether any of at least two areas or zones adjacent to the lighting device are poorly visibly illuminated and/or occupied by personnel, and illuminates these areas or zones with ultraviolet light. The lighting system is configured to operate in conjunction with existing emergency visible lighting and/or flashing visible light systems by using the sensors to sense visible illumination of each individual area or zone provided by the existing emergency visible lighting and flashing visible light systems. The lighting system may be configured to synchronize the illumination of each individual area or zone in ultraviolet light with intermittent absence of visible light illumination in each area or zone from the existing emergency visible lighting and flashing visible light systems.

摘要: A distributed transaction ledger (e.g. a blockchain) is used to track and validate changes in a building management system such as a building automation system, access control system, or security/surveillance system. The building management system 100 includes a series of distributed devices connected to a peer-to-peer validation network. The distributed devices generate transaction information during normal operation and broadcast the transaction information to the validation network. The validation network maintains a distributed transaction ledger for the building management system, for example, by validating the transaction information and distributing the transaction information across the validation network according to consensus criteria to be stored locally in multiple instances by nodes of the validation network, which can be dedicated computing devices and/or validator distributed devices. The distributed devices perform building management functions based on validated transaction information retrieved from the transaction ledger.

The ovitrap includes a container, a cover, and a dividing mechanism for dividing the container into two regions, which in use are filled with water, and which communicate via an opening such that a first volume below the dividing mechanism defines a larvae trapping region, and a second volume above the dividing mechanism defines an egg receiving region A light source having a cool, white spectra with two peaks is mounted above the container and positioned to direct light downwards at a water surface, such that the larvae move in a direction away from the light source, from the second volume into the first volume below the dividing mechanism via the opening. A gating mechanism is operatively linked to the light source for opening and closing the opening.

摘要: A headlamp includes a strap, a bracket coupled to the strap, and a first lighting assembly pivotally coupled to the bracket and including a first light housing enclosing a first LED, a battery housing enclosing a battery configured to power the first LED, and a first actuator operable to toggle the first lighting assembly between a first plurality of operating modes. The headlamp also includes a second lighting assembly coupled to the strap and having a plurality of second LEDs and a second actuator operable to toggle the second lighting assembly between a second plurality of operating modes such that the lighting assemblies are operable independently. A wire extends between the lighting assemblies to provide power from the battery to the plurality of second LEDs. The second lighting assembly extends along more than 50% of a circumference of the strap and follows a curvature of the strap.

摘要: A load control device may include a semiconductor switch, a control circuit, and first and second terminals adapted to be coupled to a remote device. The load control device may include a first switching circuit coupled to the second terminal, and a second switching circuit coupled between the first terminal and the second terminal. The control circuit may be configured to render the first switching circuit conductive to conduct a charging current from an AC power source to a power supply of the remote device during a first time period of a half-cycle of the AC power source, and further configured to render the first and second switching circuits conductive and non-conductive to communicate with the remote device via the second terminal during a second time period of the half-cycle of the AC power source.

The yoke may be electrically conductive and be configured to mount the wireless control device to an electrical wallbox. The antenna may be configured to transmit and receive radio frequency signals. The antenna may be a slot antenna. The communication circuit may be configured to transmit and receive the radio-frequency signals via the antenna, and the control circuit may be responsive to the communication circuit (e.g., the signals received via the communication circuit). The control device may also include a conductive component that is attached to a front surface of the housing. For example, the conductive component may be electrically connected to the yoke via a single electrical connection (e.g., a screw). Further, the conductive component may be parallel with the antenna and configured to be capacitively coupled to the antenna.
