Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a rack includes a pair of spaced apart inverted U shaped brackets. Each bracket has a top portion coupled in-between a rear leg and a front leg and forming a gap in-between the rear leg and the front leg. The top portion, the rear leg, and front leg of each bracket are disposed in a first plane. The rack further includes one or more horizontal coupling members coupled in-between the pair of brackets. The horizontal coupling members and the front leg of each bracket are disposed in a second plane that is orthogonal to the first plane. The rack also includes one or more first horizontal supporting members coupled to and extending outward from a first bracket of the pair of brackets. The first horizontal supporting members are disposed in a third plane that is orthogonal to the first and second planes.
Abstract:
An oven appliance with one or more features for controlling airflow within a cooking chamber of the oven appliance. Further, a method for operating an oven appliance to control airflow within a cooking chamber of the oven appliance. In particular, the oven includes features for and the method includes steps for dynamic control of the speed of a convection fan over an oven cycle to maintain proper airflow within the cooking chamber for cooking performance of the cooking chamber.
Abstract:
A cooking appliance and a method for controlling the same are provided. The cooking appliance may include a body having a cooking chamber, a frame, a pair of fixed guides mounted to inner side surfaces of an upper portion of the cooking chamber, respectively, the pair of fixed guides to slidably support the frame, and a tray to be supported by the frame, the tray to provide a food to be dried the tray is in the cooking chamber.
Abstract:
A water boiling device includes a heat tank unit received in a machine body, a high frequency induction heater, and a heat pipe unit. The heat tank unit includes first and second heating tanks in communication with each other. Outside water can flow into the first and second heating tanks. The high frequency induction heater includes a heat pipe induction coil and first and second induction coils. The heat pipe unit includes first and second heating pipes. An upper section of each heating pipe is received in one of the heating tanks, and a lower section of each heating pipe extends out of the heating tanks and is inserted into the heat pipe induction coil. The first and second heating tanks will heat up to heat the water in the first and second heating tanks when a high frequency current is passed through the heat pipe induction coil and first and second induction coils.
Abstract:
A vertical heat treatment apparatus including a furnace body having heater elements, and a treatment container, disposed in the furnace body, for housing and heat treating objects W to be treated. An air supply line and an air exhaust line are connected to the furnace body. An air supply blower and an air supply line valve mechanism are disposed in the air supply line, and an air exhaust blower and an air exhaust line valve mechanism are disposed in the air exhaust line. A protective tube is provided which penetrates through the furnace body and in which a temperature sensor signal line is housed, and a pressure detection hole is formed in the protective tube. A pressure detection sensor is connected to the pressure detection hole.
Abstract:
Combustion apparatus for use with a solid fuel has a firebox constructed at least in part of a fired refractory carbide material. The fired refractory carbide material has a catalytic effect on the combustion process providing a cleaner and more efficient combustion. The fired refractory material also absorbs heat from the combustion process directly or indirectly by heat exchange with combustion products and dissipates the absorbed heat over an extended period of time providing space heating after the combustion process is completed.
Abstract:
An improved wall thimble as part of a venting apparatus for a heating appliance. Dual functionality is provided in a single wall thimble device by having a vent path for exhausting combustion by-products, and a separate air inlet path to draw in combustion air for use by the heating appliance. The wall thimble is preferably formed as a two-cylindrical part housing such that a first portion can be inserted into a second portion. When a smaller exhaust pipe is routed through the two-part housing, an annular region is formed between the exhaust pipe and the walls of the housing. A first air vent is formed in the first portion to draw combustion air into the annular region from outside. A second air vent is formed in the second portion to route the combustion air from the annular region out through the second air vent to be coupled with the combustion air inlet. A baffle is disposed in the first portion to preheat the combustion air. A duct assembly with an adjustable extension may be coupled to the second air vent to provide a below-grade installation.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a frame that is quickly and easily assembled and disassembled. The frame may be used for supporting a portable forced air heater, or other similar equipment. Handles, supports, and optionally a wheel assembly is assembled to two core members using snap lock buttons. In a preferred embodiment, the portable forced air heater includes a maintenance clock for measuring and recording operational parameters of a portable forced air heater, and for notifying a user that maintenance is required.
Abstract:
A device for heating a liquid food with steam, having a liquid-transporting and a steam-transporting pipe (5, 7), where in order to effect the connection of both pipes for the purpose of heating the liquid directly in the pipe in a constructively simple manner, a coupling device (4) for connecting the pipes (5, 7) is provided, which contains at least one perforating needle (11), which is connected to one of the pipes (7, 5) and can pierce a perforable wall section (5a) on the other pipe (5, 7).
