    摘要: A portable plasma cutting apparatus for coping and cutting pre-bend tubular members includes a control unit, a control arm, a first step motor, a second step motor, a linear drive mechanism, a rotary drive mechanism, a plasma cutter, a tube placement deck, and a platform. The control arm is operatively coupled with the first step motor by the rotary drive mechanism to rotationally drive the control arm around a rotational axis. The control arm is operatively coupled with the second step motor by the linear drive mechanism to linearly drive the control arm along the rotational axis. A torch of the plasma cutter is terminally mounted to the control arm and positioned in between the control unit and the tube placement deck as the control arm rotationally and linearly moves about the control unit. The platform provides the sufficient height for the portable plasma cutting apparatus.

    摘要: The plasma torch has a nozzle and body. The nozzle has an inner nozzle and inner cap fastened to the body with the inner nozzle. Annular water passage and a plurality of independent water passages are formed between the inner nozzle and inner cap. Force applied when the inner cap is fastened to the nozzle base is transmitted via partitions. The torch body has a water supply port and drain port. At least one of the water supply port and drain port is configured as a groove extending on a plane crossing the axis and is connected to the water passage. When the nozzle is fastened to the torch body, one of the independent water passages communicates with the water supply port and another communicates with the water drain port. Rear end surface of inner nozzle is in contact with end surface of the nozzle base thereby obtaining electrical conductivity.

The cartridge includes (i) an electrode, (ii) a swirl ring with a first outer retaining feature and a second outer retaining feature on an exterior surface, where the electrode is secured to the swirl ring, and (iii) a nozzle with an inner retaining feature on an interior surface, where the inner retaining feature of the nozzle is mated with the first outer retaining feature of the swirl ring. The cartridge also includes a cartridge frame with an inner retaining feature on an interior surface and an outer retaining feature on an exterior surface. The inner retaining feature of the cartridge frame is mated with the second outer retaining feature of the swirl ring.     摘要: A plasma cutting apparatus includes a housing, a workpiece support, a movable plasma nozzle, and a nozzle drive arrangement. The housing includes a base, an upright pedestal extending upward from the base, and a stationary head cantilevered from the upright pedestal. The workpiece support extends from the upright pedestal and is located below the stationary head. The nozzle extends downward from an underside of the stationary head and is oriented for delivering a cutting plasma generally along one direction and toward a workpiece on the workpiece support. The nozzle drive arrangement is mounted to the stationary head and is connected for moving the plasma nozzle during a cutting operation.

    摘要: A plasma-torch cutting machine gantry moves in a first axis and the torch mounted through a pantograph to a drive box moves along the gantry in a second axis. The drive box rotates the torch about a third axis, and tilts the torch about a fourth axis. The drive box moves vertically in a fifth axis. The torch is mountable with tip at pantograph focal point or in an extended position. A controller firmware computes and apply offsets in the first, second and fifth axis to maintain the plasma torch tip in desired position despite the torch being mounted in extended position, rotation and tilt of the torch. In embodiments the torch is rotatable −/+90 degrees from vertical; and a laser scanner maps surfaces and edges of beams to determine movements and rotations for cutting beams.

    摘要: In some aspects, torch receptacles for coupling a plasma arc torch to a torch lead can include: a body having a first end to connect to the torch lead and a second end to connect to a torch body; a set of ports within the first end to fluidly connect to a set of fluid conduits within the torch lead; and a multiway valve within the body and fluidly connected to the set of ports and to a torch gas conduit formed in the second end, the multiway valve being configured to: i) manipulate a flow of fluids between the first end and the second end to select from primary gases entering the set of ports, ii) deliver a selected primary gas to the torch body through the torch gas conduit, and iii) fluidly connect the torch gas conduit to a gas supply manifold of the plasma cutting system.
