摘要： A papermaker's forming fabric comprising a fabric layer including cross machine direction fabric yarns and machine direction fabric yarns interwoven to form a papermaking surface with alternating single knuckles thereon. First additional cross machine direction yarns are positioned between adjacent cross machine direction fabric yarns on the papermaking surface of the fabric layer. Second additional cross machine direction yarns are positioned between the cross machine direction fabric yarns on the papermaking surface of the fabric layer. Each of the first and second additional cross machine direction yarns serve as fiber supporting yarns and as locator yarns for another of the first and second additional cross machine direction yarns. Each of the first and second additional cross machine direction yarns are interwoven with the fabric layer.

摘要： A belt for through-air drying a cellulosic fibrous structure. The belt comprises two layers, a web contacting first layer and a machine facing second layer. The two layers are joined together by either adjunct tie yarns or integral tie yarns. The resulting belt has a backside texture caused by opaque yarns which shield actinic radiation. The opaque yarns are limited to the second layer, and do not tie the second layer to the first layer. The two layers may have vertically stacked machine direction yarns.

The fabric starts the repeating design unit from a point of the lower weft being interwoven with the warp, wherein the lower wefts are interwoven with the warp once or twice, adjacent two upper wefts are interwoven with the warp twice, the numbers of wefts disposed between positions of the warp interweaving the lower weft and the adjacent two upper wefts are equal to each other, and the warp travels between the upper and lower wefts in a substantially linear manner between two positions of the adjacent two upper wefts being interwoven with the warp.

摘要： A backside textured papermaking belt is disclosed which is comprised of a framework and a reinforcing structure. The framework has a first surface which defines the paper-contacting side of the belt, a second surface opposite the first surface, and conduits which extend between first and second surfaces of the belt. The first surface of the framework has a paper side network formed therein which defines the conduits. The second surface of the framework has a backside network with passageways that provide surface texture irregularities in the backside network. The papermaking belt is made by applying a coating of photosensitive resinous material to the reinforcing structure and pressing the reinforcing structure into a deformable surface, so that the deformable surface forms protrusions which exclude resin from certain areas which when cured will lie along the backside of the belt, and then exposing the photosensitive resinous material to light of an activating wavelength through a mask which has transparent and opaque regions. A process for making paper products is also disclosed which involves applying a fluid pressure differential from a vacuum source through the belt to a partially-formed embryonic web of papermaking fibers. The fibers in the embryonic web are deflected into the conduits of the papermaking belt by the vacuum pressure while the papermaking belt and the embryonic web travel over the vacuum source. Following the deflection, the paper web is impressed with the paper side network of the belt, and dried to form the final product.

摘要： A weft-water type n-shaft papermakers' fabric has a running side surface and a papermaking side surface, in which n is an integer of at least 6. The fabric has warps and wefts forming the running side surface, the wefts consisting of both short crimp-forming wefts, which cross two or more warps, and long crimp-forming wefts which have a length more than 1.5 times the length of the short crimp. The improvement in crimpiness permits the use of large wefts having a large diameter. The arrangement of the running side surface does not affect the papermaking side surface of a double layer, triple layer or other multilayer weave.

摘要： In a single-layer papermaking woven fabric of more than four shafts, auxiliary wefts each having a smaller diameter than that of the primary wefts are disposed between each of the primary wefts. Each of the auxiliary wefts is woven once into a repeating unit of a texture by a warp. Each auxiliary weft is placed by at least two other warps extending above two adjacent primary wefts. The auxiliary wefts are pushed or urged upwardly thereof by these at least two other warps in order to form a flat papermaking surface of the fabric, whereby wire marks on a paper are reduced.
