    摘要: This document describes a dual-antenna system for a video-recording doorbell and associated devices and systems. The described antenna system may be implemented on an elongated printed circuit board and can be used for wideband and ultra-wideband applications. For low-cost devices, the dual-antenna system may implement diversity antennas by including first and second substantially orthogonal antennas connected to a chipset configured for single-input single-output (SISO) functionality. The dual-antenna system described herein achieves high antenna isolation and efficiency without a decoupling structure between the first and second antennas. Further, the dual-antenna system achieves high isolation while in proximity to a battery (e.g., a battery within a housing of a battery-powered, video-recording doorbell) and a metal plate for mounting the device to a wall or other structure.

    摘要: Systems and methods for managing current flow in a power circuit used to dynamically share power are disclosed. A Zener diode may automatically adjust current flow in the power circuit. If the power circuit has not received sufficient current for dynamic power sharing, the Zener diode may draw additional current from a power source. An electrical current in the power circuit may be divided into a plurality of current loads. Each of the plurality of current loads may be directed through a different path in the power circuit.

The pet-activated signaling device includes a belt, a transducer, and multiple bells. The transducer, which emits an electromagnetic signal, and bells, which emit an audible signal, are attached to the belt. The pet-activated signaling system includes the signaling device and a receiving device which emits an alert when a signal is received from the signaling device. The method of a pet signaling a human includes pawing at the pet-activated signaling device suspended from a door handle to activate the transducer and the bells. The invention is particularly useful for use on an exterior door, allowing a dog to use a familiar method of alerting a human to open the door even if the bells are not heard by the human.

    摘要: A system and method for sampling air in a controlled environment that includes two or more air sampling devices at different locations within the controlled environment. A controller is provided at a location outside of the controlled environment and in separate air flow communication with each of the two or more air sampling devices via separate first vacuum tubes, the controller having a manifold configured to separately control a rate of air flow from the two or more air sampling devices to the controller via each of the separate first vacuum tubes and to selectively direct the air flow from each of the separate first vacuum tubes to one or more second vacuum tubes. A vacuum source is provided at a location outside the controlled environment and in air flow communication with the controller via the one or more second vacuum tubes, the vacuum source providing suction and being controlled by the controller to generate the air flow through each of the first vacuum tubes. And, a flow switch for each of the two or more air sampling devices is provided at a location between a corresponding air sampling device and the vacuum source, each of the flow switches being configured to separately measure and control the rate of air flow through a corresponding first vacuum tube. An alarm is automatically activated at a location inside the controlled environment by one or more of the flow switches when the rate of air flow measured at one or more of the flow switches deviates from a desired value by a predetermined amount.
