    摘要: A magnetically enhanced coaxial cable of the type having a center conductor, a dielectric spacer around the center conductor and a conductive shield around the dielectric spacer, said magnetic enhancement comprising a thin layer of circumferentially oriented uniaxial anisotrophic magnetic material having high conductivity and high permeability adapted to transmit wave energy and conventional current without being switched or reoriented. The magnetic enhancement provides an increase inductance and current carrying capacity without corresponding increases in time delay and other losses associated with magnetic loading.

    摘要: A magnetically compensated conductor pair for connecting a plurality of circuit elements in parallel. A pair of conductors each having a thickness which is small in relation to the length and width thereof are insulated from one another by a sheet of a nonconductive material disposed therebetween. The terminals of each circuit component are connected only to predetermined respective conductors, the connections of each pair of component terminals being located so as to establish a symmetrical terminal distribution about the points where the conductors are connected to an external circuit. As current flows into one component terminal through one conductor and out of the other component terminal through the other conductor, the current distribution established in one conductor is equal and opposite to that established in the other conductor, on a point-by-point basis, along substantially the entire length and width of both conductors. This results in a mutual cancellation in the magnetic flux produced by current in the conductor pair and, thereby, in a reduction in the self-inductance thereof.

    摘要: A device for transmitting electrical energy and including at least one conductive element whose structure is heterogeneous in the radial direction in that the element is composed of a plurality of concentric layers which are so selected that the value of at least one electrical or magnetic parameter of these layers varies progressively from one layer to the next, and hence in the direction of the radius of the element, the thickness of each layer being at least equal to the conventional skin effect thickness of that layer at a frequency which is at least equal to the cutoff frequency of the element.
