    摘要: A system configured to improve sound source localization (SSL) processing by reducing a number of direction vectors and grouping the direction vectors into direction cells is provided. The system performs clustering to generate a smaller set of direction vectors included in a delay-direction codebook, reducing a size of the codebook to the number of unique delay vectors. In addition, the system groups the direction vectors into direction cells having a regular structure (e.g., predetermined uniformity and/or symmetry), which simplifies SSL processing and results in a substantial reduction in computational cost. The system may also select between multiple codebooks and/or dynamically adjust the codebook to compensate for changes to the microphone array. For example, a device with a microphone array fixed to a display that can tilt may adjust the codebook based on a tilt angle of the display to improve accuracy.

The device comprises a plurality of loudspeakers arranged at a plurality of locations within a plane and a processing circuitry configured to drive the plurality of loudspeakers. A first subset of the plurality of loudspeakers defines a first rhombus within the plane and a second subset of the plurality of loudspeakers defines a second rhombus within the plane. The first rhombus is oriented substantially perpendicular to the second rhombus. Further subsets of the plurality of loudspeakers may define further rhombic sub-arrays. The audio device may be implemented as a soundbar or a sound panel, which provides a richer sound experience.

    摘要: Systems and methods for suppressing noise and detecting voice input in a multi-channel audio signal captured by a plurality of microphones include (i) capturing a first audio signal via a first microphone and a second audio signal via a second microphone, wherein the first and second audio signals respectively comprises first and second noise content from a noise source; (ii) identifying the first noise content in the first audio signal; (iii) using the identified first noise content to determine an estimated noise content captured by the plurality of microphones; (iv) using the estimated noise content to suppress the first and second noise content in the first and second audio signals; (v) combining the suppressed first and second audio signals into a third audio signal; and (vi) determining that the third audio signal includes a voice input comprising a wake word.

    摘要: A voice-activated light system that includes a microphone for receiving one or more voice commands (which may be referred to as a “voice microphone”), one or more light sources (such as LEDs) coupled to a controller and a light driver. The light driver is for driving the light sources and the controller is for detecting a voice command in order to control the mode of operation of the one or more light sources. The controller can have multiple control commands each for selecting a different mode of operation of the light source(s). The modes can be controlled by a common voice input term followed by a second voice command corresponding to a mode of operation of the light source. The system may include a second microphone which may be referred to herein as a “music microphone”. The commands can include “light show,” “slow pulse,” “steady on,” “blinking,” or “off”.
