摘要: This disclosure describes an apparatus and method of an embodiment of an invention that is a ceiling tile microphone that includes: a plurality of microphones coupled together as a microphone array used for beamforming where the plurality of microphones are positioned at predetermined locations and produce audio signals to be used to form a directional pickup pattern; a single ceiling tile with an outer surface on the front side of the ceiling tile where the outer surface is acoustically transparent, the microphone array couples to the back side of the single ceiling tile and combines with the single ceiling tile as a single unit; a housing that encloses signal processing circuitry and couples to the back side of the single unit; where the single unit is mountable on the ceiling using mounting accessories; where all or part of the housing is in the ceiling space above the plane of the ceiling; where the single unit further includes beamforming.

At least one processor determines plural virtual microphone bubbles in the space, and defines one or more bubble object profiles which comprise(s) specific attributes and functions of audio processing functions for each bubble, each bubble object profile including: (a) an individual bubble object profile when the bubble has been configured for an individual bubble; (b) a region object profile when the bubble has been configured for a region of one or more bubbles; and (c) a group object profile when the bubble has been configured for a group having one or more bubbles. The audio signal processing functions are used for the at least one bubble, for any combination of (a), (b), and (c).

摘要: A processing device according to this embodiment includes: a measurement signal output unit configured to output a frequency sweep signal whose frequency is swept as a measurement signal; a sound pickup signal acquisition unit configured to acquire L-ch and R-ch sound pickup signals obtained by picking up the measurement signal by a left microphone and a right microphone; an evaluation signal acquisition unit configured to calculate an evaluation signal in a time domain in accordance with the L-ch and R-ch sound pickup signals; an extraction unit configured to extract a partial section of the evaluation signal as an extraction section; a comparison unit configured to compare the L-ch sound pickup signal with the R-ch sound pickup signal using the evaluation signal in the extraction section; and a determination unit configured to determine whether the fit of the right and left microphones or the output unit is good or not based on the results of the comparison made in the comparison unit.

摘要: Systems and methods for loudspeaker layout mapping in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. In many embodiments, loudspeakers are able to generate tones which are used by other loudspeakers to generate impulse responses. The impulse responses and the angles at which the tones were received can be used to determine the relative locations and orientations of the loudspeakers. In various embodiments, obstacles which obstruct the path of the tone can be identified and accounted for.

摘要: Systems and methods for three-dimensional beamforming disclosed herein include, among other features (i) generating a set of received-sound beams by applying a plurality of sets of beamforming coefficients stored in a tangible memory of the network device to sound received via a microphone array of the network device, wherein each received-sound beam corresponds to a separate direction relative to the microphone array, (ii) identifying a subset of the received-sound beams comprising speech content, (iii) for each received-sound beam in the subset of the received-sound beams comprising speech content, determining whether the speech content comprises a wake word, (iv) selecting one final received-sound beam from the received-sound beams in the subset of the received-sound beams determined to comprise a wake word; and (v) causing the selected one final received-sound beam to be processed to identify a voice command.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for improving audio quality. Sensor data is received from an accelerometer of a camera. Based on measurements captured by the sensor data, a position of a lens of the camera and a current field of view (FOV) of the camera is determined. Audio beamforming is performed based on the current FOV of the camera by selecting a subset of microphones disposed on the camera to record audio based on the position of the lens and the current FOV of the camera; and activating the subset of microphones disposed on the camera, where microphones outside the selected subset of microphones are excluded from activation so that audio originating outside of the current FOV is removed.

摘要: Embodiments include a processing device communicatively coupled to a plurality of audio devices comprising at least one microphone and at least one speaker, and to a digital signal processing (DSP) component having a plurality of audio input channels for receiving audio signals captured by the at least one microphone, the processing device being configured to identify one or more of the audio devices based on a unique identifier associated with each of the one or more audio devices; obtain device information from each identified audio device; and adjust one or more settings of the DSP component based on the device information. A computer-implemented method of automatically configuring an audio conferencing system, comprising a digital signal processing (DSP) component and a plurality of audio devices including at least one speaker and at least one microphone, is also provided.

An example apparatus includes processor circuitry to at least determine a first signal spectrum corresponding to a first microphone, the first signal spectrum identifying first audio, determine a second signal spectrum corresponding to a second microphone, the second signal spectrum identifying the first audio, the second spectrum different from the first spectrum, the first microphone different from the second microphone, the second signal spectrum having a first spectral distance to the first signal spectrum, calculate a mask based on the first and second signal spectrums, and generate a third signal spectrum corresponding to the first microphone utilizing the mask and the first signal spectrum, the third signal spectrum different from the first signal spectrum, the third signal spectrum having a second spectral distance to the second signal spectrum, the second spectral distance less than the first spectral distance.
