Abstract: Provided is an improved alkylation process using a delaminated SSZ-70 catalyst. The process comprises contacting a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising olefins and isoparaffins with a catalyst comprising delaminated SSZ-70 under alkylating reaction conditions. The delaminated SSZ-70 offers a zeolite layer with a single unit cell of thickness in one dimension, allowing an elimination of mass transfer in comparison with regular SSZ-70. This prevents coke formation inside zeolite channels and improves catalyst stability.

Abstract: An integrated system for onboard scrubbing of a marine exhaust gas on a ship, comprising: a) a Venturi quencher having: i) two liquid inlets that feed quench water to the Venturi quencher; and ii) a hot exhaust gas entry that feeds the hot marine exhaust gas from an engine on the ship; and b) the rotating packed bed device, having: iii) a stationary gas distributor, placed along an outer circumference of the RPB device, that disengages a quenched marine exhaust gas from a cooled two-phase mixture, and uniformly distributes the quenched marine exhaust gas along the outer circumference of the RPB device; and iv) a stationary liquid distributor, centrally positioned, and with multiple liquid rings that are fitted with spray nozzles that spray a seawater along an inner circumference of the RPB device. Also, processes for using the integrated system, and a ship comprising the integrated system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating reservoir productivity as a function of depth in a subsurface volume of interest are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain subsurface data and well data corresponding to a subsurface volume of interest; obtain a parameter model; use the subsurface data and the well data to generate multiple production parameter maps; apply the parameter model to the multiple production parameter maps to generate refined production parameter values; generate multiple refined production parameter graphs; display the multiple refined production parameter graphs; generate one or more user input options; receive the one or more user input options selected by a user to generate limited production parameter values; generate a representation of estimated reservoir productivity as a function of depth in the subsurface volume of interest using visual effects; and display the representation.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable medium for profiling steam injected into a formation. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a dataset of temperature surveillance data, acoustic surveillance data, surface injection data, downhole pressure measurement device data, downhole temperature measurement device data, or any combination thereof. The method further include determining annular temperature profiles, tubing temperature profiles, behind liner temperature profiles, or any combination thereof from the dataset based on configuration of the fiber optic surveillance system in the well and design of the well. The method further includes using flow diagnostic results based on the dataset, the annular temperature profiles, the tubing temperature profiles, etc. to select which computational algorithm(s) can be used to determine a steam injection flow profile and associating each selected algorithm with a weight, executing each selected algorithm, and using results and the associated weight to determine the steam injection flow profile.

Abstract: A method is described for image-domain full waveform inversion. The method may include receiving, at a computer processor, a seismic dataset representative of the subsurface volume of interest and an initial earth model; performing, via the computer processor, an image domain full waveform inversion to generate an updated earth model; and performing, via the computer processor, seismic imaging of the seismic dataset using the updated earth model to generate a seismic image. The method may be executed by a computer system.
