    Abstract: A system for determining and reporting user equipment (UE) time gap requirement information for performing a measurement on a reference signal provided by a target base station. A UE receives a radio resource control (RRC) message from a current base station to modify a current RRC connection. The RRC configuration message may comprise sub carrier spacing (SCS) information of one or more target frequency bands of at least one target base station. The UE may then determine gap information based at least in part on the received SCS information of the one or more target frequency bands. The gap information may indicate whether a gap is needed in performing measurements on a reference signal transmitted at each of the one or more target frequency bands. The UE then transmits the gap information to the current base station.

    Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capable wireless device configured to perform sidelink cellular communications. The wireless device performs sidelink communications using a two-stage sidelink control information (SCI) protocol including Stage 1 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), and Stage 2 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The SCI messaging may be encoded using polar codes. Channel interleaving is utilized on the SCI to interleave the SCI between two or more layers of a MIMO transmission system. Scrambling for Stage 2 SCI messaging is performed based on the result of a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) performed on Stage 1 SCI messaging. Collisions between sidelink HARQ feedback to be transmitted to a base station and other transmissions are avoided based on a priority analysis of the sidelink HARQ feedback.

    Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods to perform cell reselection. In an example, timing requirements for synchronization signal processing are defined based on a beam sweeping capability of the device. Synchronization signals are received and processed according to the timing requirements to complete a cell reselection procedure. In another example, location data of the device is used to look up a database of cell identifiers. A cell identifier is determined based on the look-up and a cell reselection procedure is performed using the cell identifier.

    Abstract: A first CSI-RS signal is received by user equipment through a first cell, and a second CSI-RS signal is received through a second cell. Respective QCL information can be available to determine a first Rx beam to measure the first CSI-RS signal and a second Rx beam to measure the second CSI-RS signal. In such a case, if the first CSI-RS signal and the second CSI-RS signal are fully overlapped, then the user equipment can i) alternate between measuring the first CSI-RS signal with the first Rx beam and measuring the second CSI-RS signal with the second Rx beam, or ii) measure only the first CSI-RS signal or the second CSI-RS signal.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a UE and its serving base station to coordinate the activation and deactivation of measurement gaps for performing positioning measurements by the UE using target positioning reference signals (PRS) during bandwidth part (BWP) switching. The UE may be configured by the serving base station to have dedicated measurement gaps. The UE determines if a legacy measurement gap used for mobility measurements or a scheduled data transmission collides with the dedicated measurement gaps. If there is a collision, the UE performs the mobility measurement using the legacy measurement gap or transmits the scheduled data. If there is no collision, the UE receives the PRS to perform the positioning measurement during the dedicated measurement gaps. In one embodiment, based on the status of the active BWP and the target PRS, the UE or the base station may activate or deactivate measurement gaps for the positioning measurements.
