Abstract:
A method for forming a light beam, and a light assembly having at least one light source with a fixed reflector which directs a beam of light light assembly having a front lens, and a light deflecting mechanism for changing the light angle of the light beam after passing through the front lens. The front lens has a central part that differs from the surrounding parts of the front lens, and the light deflecting mechanism, in a first position, concentrates the light beam into the central part of the front lens to generate a wide-angle light beam, and in a second position, distributes the light beam over the entire front lens to generate a narrow angle light beam. The light deflecting mechanism is connected with a first actuator, and is movable between the first and the second position.
Abstract:
An entertainment system (1019, 2) having a fluid system with a smoke generator (1007, 4), the smoke generator being supplied from at least one pump (1005, 8, 10) connected to at least one container for fluid (1003, 12, 14), which at least one pump (1005, 8, 10) is controlled by a controller (1009, 6), wherein the controller is adapted to perform a shutdown process upon malfunctioning of at least a part of the entertainment system. The shutdown process performs a purge of at least part of the fluid system. Furthermore, a method of operating the entertainment system (1001, 2), has the steps of performing a shutdown process upon malfunctioning of at least a part of the entertainment system, the shutdown process including the step of purging (2009, 3003a, 3003b) at least a part of said fluid system.
Abstract:
A light effect system includes a light source and at least one aperture element interposed between the light source and an exit lens of the system. The aperture element has at least one aperture and at least one light effect element positioned therein. The system uses an aperture element having at least two “fingers” partly surrounding each light effect element in at least 180° of the circumference. These “fingers” engage with the contour of the outer surface of the light effect element to hold the light effect element in position in the aperture, and the fingers are formed of a flexible material. Hereby, it is achieved that the locking and releasing of the light effect component can be done by push and pull in an ideal perpendicular direction to the light path. In other words, no angling, bending or twisting is necessary, so a minimum of space is required.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a control device for controlling a variable-color light source, the variable-color light source comprising a plurality of individually controllable color light sources. The control device comprises a control unit for generating, responsive to an input signal indicative of a color and a brightness, respective activation signals for each of the individually controllable color light sources. The control unit is configured to generate the activation signals from the input signal and from predetermined calibration data indicative of at least one set of color values for each of the individually controllable light sources.
Abstract:
A lighting fixture having at least one internal processor and at least one fixed element to which controllable moving elements are rotatably fastened, one moving element having at least one light source that generates a beam of light. Information concerning positions of moving components in a lighting fixture is automatically achieved. Correct position indication at start up is obtained without moving the components to their end stops for finding set points for step motors by the provision of at least one absolute encoding device, which encoding device indicates the angular movement of a first input axel in relation to the encoding device, which absolute encoding device has a gearbox with a second internal axel, which first input axle drives a first toothed timing wheel, intermeshing with a second toothed timing wheel that rotates the second axel with a angular velocity different from the angular velocity of the first input axle.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light fixture comprising a head, which head comprises at least one light source, which head is carried rotatably in a yoke, which yoke rotates in relation to a base, which bases comprises bearings for the yoke, which base comprises at least a power module, which power module comprises at least one ballast circuit, which base comprises at least one controller. It is the object of the invention to achieve a fast exchange of a power module in a light source in situations of changing technical specifications of the power module. Hereby it can be achieved that the module can be exchanged very easily. This can be important in a light fixture placed high above the ground if it needs to have an electronic module exchanged. That can be important if specifications are changed after the light fixture has been placed in a thuss for operation.

Abstract:
A light fixture having at least one light source for generating a beam of light, a plurality of color filters are rotatable into position to intercept the light beam. The color filters are fixed to the color wheel by a central spring which has a number of radial protruding tongues for fixation of the color filters. The color filters are removable yet are secured in a correct position by radial protrusions formed between the color filters an circular outer protrusion located outward of the color filters so as to form a cavity that surrounds the color filter at both sides as well as at outward. Inward of the color filters, they are fixed by the protruding tongue that presses them down and keeps them in place. This leads to a nearly perfect fixation of each color filter, which can be exchanged if necessary.
Abstract:
A lighting fixture having at least one fixed element, to which fixed element controllable moving elements are rotatingly fastened, where one moving element has at least one light source. To automatically receive information concerning the orientation of lighting fixture and to achieve feed-forward regulation of cooling in the lighting unit the lighting fixture has an orientation sensor as the at least one the fixed element, which orientation sensor detects at least 3 orthogonal axes and transmits orientation signals to an internal processor in the lighting fixture, which processor calculates the actual orientation of the fixed elements. As a result, a computer that controls the lightning fixture knows the actual position of each component in the lightning fixture.
Abstract:
A system and a method for operating an intruder deterrent system by which a smoke screen is generated in response to an intruder being detected, a smoke screen generator operatively linked to the intruder detecting. To achieve an intruder deterrent system that can operate for a longer period after interruption in the power supply, latent heat is stored in a heat storage, and smoke can be generated by transferring the latent heat from the heat storage to a liquid, which liquid is evaporated. The use of the heat storage has led to the unexpected result that the smoke generator can operate independently of power to the heating elements for a very long period.
