Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for calibrating LED(s). In one aspect, an electronic device includes: (1) a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs); (2) one or more processors; and (3) memory storing a plurality of color correction matrices, each color correction matrix of the plurality of color correction matrices: (a) corresponding to an LED of the plurality of LEDs, (b) generated based on a desired color value for the corresponding LED, and (c) scaled to prevent overrange of color values for the corresponding LED; and the memory includes instructions for operating the plurality of LEDs in accordance with the stored plurality of color correction matrices.

Abstract: A light emitting assembly includes a first light emitting component, a second light emitting component, and a third light emitting component. The components are arranged such that a first light, a second light and a third light mix to form a mixed light. The assembly includes a control device, which has a first control channel and a second control channel operating the three components and configured such that in a first operating range the first component is driven via the first channel and the second and third components are driven jointly via the second channel. In the first operating range the mixed light is continuously adjustable from the first color to a fourth color, and in a second operating range the second component is driven via the second channel and the first and third components are driven jointly via the first channel.

Abstract: A pre-calibrated light box includes a light panel, a material attached to the light panel and at least one LED strip positioned inside the light box and including a plurality of interweaved LEDs selected from three different bins on a chromaticity diagram. The three different bins are selected based on plotting a representative vertex inside each of the first, the second and the third bins and drawing a triangle between the vertices so that a target color of white light emitted out of the light box is located inside the drawn triangle. At least three channels are electrically coupled to each of the bins of LEDs and each channel powers the corresponding bin of LEDs with a proportion of power determined by a geometric location of the target color of white light with respect to a location of each of the bins on the chromaticity diagram.

Abstract: There is disclosed a desalinization apparatus, and methods related to desalinization. In an embodiment, a desalinization apparatus includes at least one port for receiving airflow therethrough, at least one port for receiving salt water therethrough, at least one output for providing outflow of pure water vapor, and at least one output for proving outflow of a mixture of water, salt and air; and a plurality of chambers for evaporating the salt water into the airflow, at least one of the chambers forming a plurality of ports arranged in a plurality of rows. In an embodiment, a method includes providing airflow to a desalinization apparatus; providing salt water to the desalinization apparatus; forming a vortex in the airflow to evaporate water vapor from the salt water; and providing the water vapor in the airflow to a condenser so as to obtain pure water.

Abstract: A light source is provided that includes at least two semiconductor light-emitting elements that emit light of different color, a light guide, an electronic control unit, and a light sensor. The light emitted by the elements is injected, at least partially, into the light guide and exits laterally from the light guide. The brightness of the elements can be adjusted by the electronic control unit. The light sensor is arranged to receive the light injected by the elements and laterally exiting from the light guide. The electronic control unit accumulates sensor signals from the light sensor over an integration time interval and compares the accumulated signals with a target value or range to determine a difference, changes a brightness of the elements in response to the difference, and changes the integration time interval in response to the difference or to a change in the target value.
