Abstract: An image processor and a method therein to provide a target image for evaluation with an object detector. The method comprises: obtaining a source image captured by a camera and depicting an object, and applying an inverse pixel transform to each target pixel of a target image to determine one or more source pixels located at a position in the source image corresponding to a position of each target pixel in the target image. The method further comprises assigning, to each target pixel, a target pixel value determined based on one or more source pixel values of the determined one or more source pixels located at the corresponding position, thereby is a size c in the target image of the depicted object of a specific object type normalized in at least one size dimension. Thereafter, the target image is fed to an object detector for evaluation.

Abstract: An image processing device, a camera and a method of encoding a sequence of video images into a single video stream with dynamic bitrate are provided. The sequence of video images is encoded into frames of a base layer of the single video stream using a base layer resolution and a base layer compression level. Video images of the sequence of video images corresponding to respective times before detecting an event trigger are encoded into a first set of frames of an extended layer of the single video stream. The event trigger is detected and upon detecting the event trigger, video images of the sequence of video images corresponding to respective times after detecting the event trigger are encoded into a second set of frames of the extended layer using a higher resolution than the base layer resolution or a lower compression level than the base layer compression level.

Abstract: A camera having a heating arrangement comprising a heater arranged to supply heat to a window. A thermally conductive member is arranged in contact with a housing and with the heating arrangement, when a temperature at the conductive member is below a threshold, to transfer heat supplied by the heater to the housing. A thermally insulating member is arranged in proximity with the housing and the heating arrangement. The conductive and/or insulating member is configured to, when the temperature increases above the threshold during heater operation, change its extension to enable contact between the insulating member and the housing and between the insulating member and the heating arrangement, and to disable contact between the conductive member and the housing and between the conductive member and the heating arrangement, thereby thermally insulate the housing from the heater.

Abstract: A video management system for displaying video streams from a plurality of monitoring devices arranged in a network in a video display arrangement. Each monitoring device constitutes a node in the network and has a logical connection to at least one other node. Abstract: An image processing device a camera and a method for of encoding images captured by a camera are disclosed. For each image of an image sequence captured by the camera, the image is pre-processed by filtering the image by applying a privacy filter, the privacy filter being configured to distort the image in such a way that privacy is achieved in the filtered image, and, for at least a subset of the filtered images, by colour revising the filtered image by changing colour of pixels of a plurality of scattered areas of the filtered image such that a respective colour of one or more pixels of each area of the plurality of scattered areas represents one or more original colours of one or more pixels before filtering at a location of that area in the filtered image. The pre-processed images are then encoded into an encoded video stream.

Abstract: A tag for indicating a region of interest, ROI, has a predefined format and codes ROI information, which is readable by imaging the tag and which includes a size indication and a relative position indication, the respective indications allowing the ROI's size and position to be determined relative to the tag's size and position. A method for locating a ROI in an image comprises: obtaining an image; searching in the image for a tag with the predefined format; and determining a ROI on the basis of the tag's size and position in the image and the ROI information. A method for generating a tag comprises: obtaining an image including a visible provisional tag of same physical size as the tag to be generated; obtaining operator input identifying a ROI in the image; deriving the size indication and relative position indication; and printing the tag.
