摘要: Methods for transmitting asynchronous event data via synchronous communications interfaces (and associated imaging systems) are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an imager comprises an array of event vision pixels, and a synchronous communications transmitter configured to transmit frames of data to a synchronous communications receiver. The pixels generate event data based on activity within an external scene. The imager communicates, at a first time and to the receiver, an anticipated amount of data that will be included in a frame transmitted to the receiver at a second time. The anticipated amount of data can be based on a prediction of an amount of event data that will be generated at a future point in time for transmission to the receiver in the frame. The imager can then transmit the frame to the receiver at the second time with an amount of data corresponding to the anticipated amount of data.

摘要: A system and method are provided for a wireless device for use with a first video conference device, a second video conference device, WAN and an item. The video conference devices are configured to establish a video conference over a secure communication channel over the WAN. The first video conference device is additionally configured to transmit a video conference invitation in response to a video conference request from the wireless device, the video conference invitation including credentials to establish a communication channel with the first video conference device. The second video conference device is additionally configured to transmit a magnification control signal. The wireless device is configured to: image the item in a first magnification; transmit first image data of the item based on the first magnification; change the magnification; image the item in a second magnification; and transmit second image data of the item based on the second magnification.

摘要: A Head-Mounted Display (HMD) is provided which comprises a camera configured to capture a video of a real-world scene with a first field-of-view (FoV), a network interface circuit configured to stream video to a receiving display device, and processing means which is operative to generate a 3D model of the real-world scene, and to generate a video from the 3D model using a second FoV which is wider than the first FoV. The processing means is further operative to estimate a motion of the camera, and to stream the generated video to the receiving display device if the estimated motion of the camera satisfies one or more conditions indicative of rapid motion, else stream the captured video to the receiving display device.

摘要: Systems and methods for packet payload mapping for robust transmission of data are described. For example, methods may include receiving, using a network interface, packets that each respectively include a primary frame and one or more preceding frames from the sequence of frames of data that are separated from the primary frame in the sequence of frames by a respective multiple of a stride parameter; storing the frames of the packets in a buffer with entries that each hold the primary frame and the one or more preceding frames of a packet; reading a first frame from the buffer as the primary frame from one of the entries; determining that a packet with a primary frame that is a next frame in the sequence has been lost; and, responsive to the determination, reading the next frame from the buffer as a preceding frame from one of the entries.
