    Abstract: The present invention relates to a clutch device (6) having a clutch (46) and an actuating mechanism (48) for actuating the clutch (46), wherein the actuating mechanism (48) has a first adjusting element (84) and a second adjusting element (86) which interacts with an impinging element (68) acting on the clutch (46). The first adjusting element (84) can be rotated in the axial direction (8, 10) relative to the second adjusting element (86) with displacement of the second adjusting element (86). Moreover, the present invention relates to a drivetrain (2) for a motor vehicle with a clutch device (6) of this kind.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a valve assembly 10 for controlling a volute connecting opening 324 of a multi-channel turbine 500. The valve assembly 10 comprises a housing portion 300, a valve body 100 and an internal lever 200. The housing portion 300 defines a first volute channel 312, a second volute channel 314 and a volute connecting region 320. The housing portion 300 further comprises a cavity 340. The cavity 340 is separated from the volutes 312, 314 and can be accessed from outside the housing portion 300 via a housing opening 342 which extends from outside the housing portion 300 into the cavity 340. The volute connection region 320 is located between the first volute channel 312 and the second volute channel 314 and defines a volute connecting opening 324. The valve body 100 is inserted in the cavity 340 of the housing portion 300 and comprises at least one fin 120. The internal lever 200 is coupled with the valve body 100 and configured to pivotably move the valve body 100 between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the valve body 100, the fin 120 blocks the volute connecting opening 324.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a viscous coupling that has a housing that carries ribs that are arranged concentrically about a central axis. A rotor is provided that can rotate relative to the housing about the central axis in a predetermined direction. The rotor also carries ribs, and the ribs of the housing and the rotor are arranged in a working chamber surrounded by the housing. Also provided is a fluid reservoir. A fluid discharge line leads from the working chamber to the fluid reservoir. A wiper is moveably arranged between the housing and the rotor and scrapes fluid from the rotor and feeds it to the fluid discharge line. A stop is provided for the wiper and is arranged next to the rotor.

    Abstract: A waste heat recovery system for recovering waste heat of in internal combustion engine includes a turbine expander. The turbine expander includes a turbine blade, a shaft coupled to and rotatable by the turbine blade, and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle block disposed about the shaft and adjacent the turbine blade, a first nozzle component coupled to the nozzle block, and a second nozzle component coupled to the nozzle block. The first nozzle component defines a first nozzle having a first geometrical configuration. The second nozzle component defines a second nozzle having a second geometrical configuration that is different from the first geometrical configuration. The waste heat recovery system also includes a flow control device in fluid communication with the turbine expander. The waste heat recovery system further includes a controller in communication with the flow control device.

    Abstract: A stator for an electric machine comprises a cylindrical core defining an inner cylindrical surface and an outer cylindrical surface with a plurality of slots formed between the inner cylindrical surface and the outer cylindrical surface. Windings are positioned on the cylindrical core. The leads of the windings include a plurality of inner leads associated with conductors in an inner layer of the slots and a plurality of outer leads associated with conductors in an outer layer of the slots. A bus bar assembly includes a plurality of inner bus bars and a plurality of outer bus bars, the plurality of inner bus bars connected to the plurality of inner leads, and the plurality of outer bus bars connected to the plurality of outer leads. The plurality of outer bus bars are positioned radially outward from the end turns of the windings and radially inward from the outer cylindrical surface.

    Abstract: An electric machine a stator having a stator core and windings positioned thereon. The stator core has a plurality of slots formed therein and a winding positioned in the plurality of slots. The winding includes at least four parallel paths distributed in slot sets of the stator core. Each slot set includes at least four contiguous slots including two left slots and two right slots. A first parallel path and a second parallel path are arranged in the two left slots for at least a first revolution of the winding around the core. The first parallel path and the second parallel path are arranged in the two right slots for at least a subsequent revolution of the winding around the core.

    Abstract: A turbocharger includes a turbine housing. The turbine housing includes a turbine inlet wall defining an inlet passage, an exducer shroud wall defining an exducer interior, a turbine outlet wall defining an outlet passage, a wastegate port wall defining a wastegate channel, and a bushing wall coupled to the wastegate port wall and defining a bushing boss extending along a bushing axis, and a valve seat disposed about the wastegate channel. The turbocharger also includes a wastegate assembly. The wastegate assembly includes a valve element engageable with the valve seat. The wastegate port wall is disposed outside of the exducer interior such that the wastegate port wall and the bushing wall are configured to be thermally decoupled from the turbine inlet wall and such that relative displacement between the valve seat and the bushing axis is reduced during operation of the turbocharger.
