Abstract:
A method of supporting a security for a multicast communication is provided in a mobile station. The mobile station shares an MAK with a base station, derives a prekey based on a first parameter including the MAK, and derives a multicast security key including an MTEK based on a second parameter including the prekey, and decrypts a multicast traffic using the multicast security key.
Abstract:
A method of controlling power saving modes of a plurality of terminals joining in a group communication by a base station is provided. The base station establishes a group call connection with the plurality of terminals, and establishes a same power saving mode pattern for the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
A management device of a stopping or moving base station includes: an information acquisition unit that acquires first information about wireless environment from a neighboring base station and that acquires second information about the wireless environment by connecting to a backbone network; a position estimating unit that estimates a position of the neighboring base station based on the first information; and an operation condition selection unit that selects radio resources based on at least one of the first information and the second information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a radio resource reallocation method based on the circuit mode. In order to efficiently use the radio resource in the packet-based data transmission system, a circuit mode radio resource is reallocated based on a rearrangement information element and a rearrangement counter information element by using the circuit mode. Accordingly, an unused region of the discontinuous radio resource that can be generated by resource de-allocation and resource change can be eliminated, and a resource allocation mismatch that can be generated by a MAP receiving error can be solved.
Abstract:
A group communication method of a terminal is provided. The terminal establishes a group call connection with a first base station belonging to a group call zone, and receives group call data from the first base station. When moving to the coverage area of a second base station belonging to the group call zone, the terminal receives group call data from the second base station.
Abstract:
A method of managing a multicast service is provided to a mobile station. The mobile station receives from a base station a message including information on a multicast indication cycle including a multicast available interval and a multicast unavailable interval. The mobile station receives a multicast indicator in the multicast available interval of the multicast indication cycle, and receives a multicast traffic at a transmission time indicated by the multicast indicator.
Abstract:
A method of relaying in a base station that enable a first base station to operate as a relay station in order to communicate with a second base station that is connected to backhaul, the method includes: forming, by the first base station, a relay link with the second base station; and starting, by the first base station, a relay mode.
Abstract:
A method of establishing a multicast connection is provided. A mobile station transmits a registration request message for a discovery of a multicast service to the base station, and receives a registration response message from the base station in response to the registration request message. The mobile station exchanges a DSA request message and a DSA response message to the DSA request message with the base station, for a multicast connection on the multicast service. The mobile station receives a downlink control channel including allocation information of multicast resource from the base station.
Abstract:
A method of setting a cycle of a low-duty mode in a femto base station is provided. The cycle of the low-duty mode has a pattern in which an available interval and an unavailable interval repeatedly appear, and the available interval is set to include a paging listening interval of a paging cycle. A method of setting a cycle of a low-duty mode in a femto base station having a service area overlapping with that of a macrocell is provided. An unavailable interval is set by taking the overlapping degree of the service area of the femto base station with the macrocell into consideration. A method of setting a cycle of a low-duty mode in a plurality of femto base stations operated in the low-duty mode is provided. The same cycle can be set for a plurality of base stations.
Abstract:
In a retransmitting method, at least one ARQ block included in a first PDU is fragmented into a plurality of ARQ sub-blocks, and at least one second PDU is generated from the plurality of ARQ sub-blocks. The second PDU includes a payload including an extended header and at least some of a plurality of ARQ sub-blocks. The extended header includes a field representing a sequence number of the first ARQ sub-block belonging to the payload.
