Abstract:
An illuminating device reusing polarized light uses an elliptical mirror, a cylindrical optical channel tube, a polarized light converter and at least two lenses to evenly distribute light and convert polarized light effectively. The incident end of the cylindrical optical channel tube is located at one focal point of the elliptical mirror. The emerging light from the cylindrical optical channel tube enters into the polarized light converter to form an image on the illuminated display panel.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal module has a liquid crystal panel and a flexible printed circuit board. The liquid crystal panel has a substrate and an indium tin oxide (ITO) film on the substrate. A flexible printed circuit board has an insulating layer on which a lower conductive layer, a second protective layer, an upper conductive layer and a first protective layer are stacked in sequence. The lower conductive layer is electrically connected to predetermined portions of the lower conductive layer and has a conductive portion, which is unshielded by the insulating layer. The flexible printed circuit board is bonded to the liquid crystal panel with the insulting layer stacked on the indium tin oxide film and the pins of the indium tin oxide film electrically connected to the conductive portion of the lower conductive layer.
Abstract:
A process for making mycophenolate mofetil comprising: conducting a catalytic transesterification by reacting a low-carbon alkyl ester of mycophenolic acid with 2-morpholinoethanol [also named as 4-(2-hydroxyethyl) morpholine] to obtain a crude product of mycophenolate mofetil, which is then isolated and purified.
Abstract:
A rotating pin clasp apparatus includes a base member with a cavity formed on the surface of the base member and a rod disposed in the cavity of the base member. The rod includes a recess and a pin utilized for fastening the rotating pin clasp apparatus, where a first end of the pin is rotatably attached to the rod at a pivot. The rod also includes a pin-retaining member for clasping a second end of the pin to the rod and a knob for rotating the rod in the cavity of the base member. A collar is formed on the base member and fitted around the recess of the rod for securing the rod to the base member and for permitting the rod to rotate in the cavity of the base member.
Abstract:
A gas-fueled appliance includes a shell, a can, a transmitter and a heat sink. The can is put in the shell. The burner is also put in the shell. The transmitter includes a valve connected with the can, a regulator connected with the valve and a pipe leading to the burner from the valve. The heat sink absorbs heat from air in the shell and transmits the heat to the pipe.
Abstract:
An EEPROM device exhibiting high saturation current and low signal propagation delay and a process for fabricating the device that includes the formation of refractory metal silicide regions in the source and the drain regions and the gate electrode of an MOS transistor within an EEPROM memory cell. A floating-gate protect layer is formed over the floating-gate electrode and a relatively thick cap oxide layer is formed to overlie the floating-gate protect layer and the source and drain regions and gate electrode of the MOS transistor. A doped oxide layer is formed to overlie the cap oxide layer. The cap oxide layer is formed to a thickness sufficient to create strain in the channel region of the MOS transistor, while not having a thickness that could cause poor data retention in the EEPROM memory cell.
Abstract:
A display set has a display panel, a first holder, a first hinge for rotatably fixing the first holder to a first side of the display panel, a second holder, and a second hinge for rotatably fixing the second holder to the first side of the display panel. The first holder is capable of rotating towards a first direction and the second holder is capable of rotating towards a second direction different from the first direction.
Abstract:
A battery energy balance circuit and a battery charging bypass circuit is disclosed for batteries being charged at the same time to be charged equally. When the terminal voltages of the batteries are different, a controllable power device switch in the circuit switches on and off at a high frequency in order to reduce the input current to the batteries with higher terminal voltages and to increase the input current to the batteries with lower terminal voltages, achieving the goal of equal charging. The disclosed energy balance circuit can avoid damages to the batteries as a result of overcharging. When the number of batteries increases, one can expand the system in a modularized way to prevent inconvenience of circuit designs.
