Abstract:
A projection display system includes a full-surround screen, at least one reflective element, and a first projection unit. The full-surround screen defines an accommodation space in the shape of a column. The reflective element is disposed in the accommodation space, and the reflective element has a bottom surface and at least one side surface connected with the bottom surface, the side surface of the reflective element faces the full-surround screen. The first projection unit is used for projecting a first image beam on the side surface of the reflective element, and the side surface of the reflective element reflects the first image beam to allow the first image beam to fall upon the full-surround screen.

A differential signal driven direct-current voltage generating device is proposed, which is designed for use with a PLL (phase-locked loop) circuit or a DLL (delay-locked loop) circuit system for generating an output of a direct-current (DC) voltage in response to a pair of differential signals, such as phase-difference signals; and which is characterized by the utilization of a capacitor-switched voltage doubler for doubling the output voltage of a charge pump so that the doubled voltage can be used as a control voltage for a PLL-VCO (voltage-controlled oscillation) or a DLL-VCDL (voltage-controlled delay line) circuit for generation of an output oscillating signal with a wider frequency range.
Abstract:
A switched-capacitor charge pump device is proposed, which is designed for integration to a circuit system, such as a PLL (phase-locked loop) circuit system, for generation of an output direct-current (DC) voltage with a wide amplitude range; and which is characterized by the utilization of two switched-capacitor circuit units in addition to the output capacitor circuit and the utilization of an output voltage comparing circuit (such as a Schmitt trigger) for comparing the end-result output DC voltage against a half-amplitude drive voltage such that when the switched-capacitor circuit units are subjected to a charging-discharging action for voltage pump-up or pump down operations, the switched-capacitor circuit units are switched between a full-amplitude drive voltage and a half-amplitude drive voltage. This feature allows the invention to provide an output DC voltage with a wider amplitude range than prior art.

A single-pole-double-throw switch is provided, which is configured to be integrated with a bandpass filtering function and includes four quarter-wavelength transmission lines connected in series, five resonators connected in parallel to each other, and four transistors connected in parallel to four of the five resonators. When two of the four transistors are turned on and the others are turned off, the single-pole-double-throw switch is equivalent to a third-order quarter-wavelength short-circuited stub bandpass filter.
Abstract:
An illuminating device adapted to a projecting apparatus including a lamp module, a power module, and a fan is provided. The lamp module is separately disposed in the projecting apparatus. The lamp module has a lamp, an igniting module and a plate. The igniting module is capable of generating a high voltage signal to drive the lamp. The plate is disposed between the lamp and the igniting module for shielding radiating heat generated by the lamp. The power module is capable of generating a low voltage signal transmitted to the igniting module through a low voltage power line. The igniting module transforms the low voltage signal into the high voltage signal to drive the lamp. The fan is disposed at a first side of the lamp for cooling the lamp.

The luminance control device includes a processing module, a power supply unit and a lamp driver. The luminance control method includes steps of issuing a power control signal to define a plurality of time segments in a cycle period, wherein luminance messages composed of different numbers of pulses are included in respective time segments; reading out the luminance messages included in the respective time segments in receipt of the power control signal; and adjusting luminance values of the light emitted by the light source to be projected to the color wheel according to the luminance messages.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a high-frequency ring coupled Quad comprising at least two transistors, which are cascaded to form a ring and bonded to resonators to form an oscillation source. The open loop feedback gain of the ring coupler of the present invention is higher than that of a conventional cross-coupled pair oscillator because the present invention adopts at least two cascaded transistors. The present invention can solve the problems of low transistor gain and high substrate loss occurring at a high frequency. The present invention has a fully symmetric circuit topology and is free of additional interconnections lines, which can obviously reduce the stray effect of interconnection lines.
Abstract:
A unilateral feedback power amplifier utilizes new feedback techniques and devices to make the amplified high-frequency signal unilateral, let the output power, power gain and impedance matching simultaneously accomplish the optimal values, and enhance the stability of the system. In this feedback amplifier, a generalized multi-port feedback circuit is in shunt with the input terminal and the output terminal of the power transistor. This generalized multi-port feedback circuit receives an amplified high-frequency signal and eliminates the reverse admittance of the amplified high-frequency signal to let the admittance value of the output amplified high-frequency signal approach zero so as to be unilateral. Moreover, the generalized multi-port feedback power amplifier differs from the conventional power amplifier of cascaded architecture in that the ground terminal of the power transistor is directly connected to the system ground. Therefore, the heat-radiating problem of the power transistor can be greatly improved.
