Abstract:
A rotating device for a cover connected to a housing of a disc drive. The rotating device includes a spring-loaded outer sleeve, a spring-loaded inner sleeve, a spring and a fixing place. The spring-loaded outer sleeve, having a first closed end and a first open end, is fixed to the cover and filled with damping material. The spring-loaded inner sleeve with the spring within has a second closed end with a key and a second open end inserted into the first open end of the spring-loaded outer sleeve. The fixing place is fixed to the housing of disc drive and includes an upper L-shaped member with an upper slot, a lower L-shaped member with a lower slot and a first end portion with a hollow to pivot the first closed end of the spring-loaded outer sleeve. The lower L-shaped member is bolted to the upper L-shaped member, and the upper slot and the lower slot are used to mesh the key of the spring-loaded inner sleeve.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a method for preparing polyether polyol or copolymerized polyether polyol, which uses an acid catalyst consisting of heteropoly acidic salts and oxides and/or binders. It allows tetrahydrofuran and/or cyclic ether compounds to carry out the ring-opening polymerization or ring-opening copolymerization with/without telogen, and obtains polyether polyol or copolymerized polyether polyol. An acid catalyst is used in the present invention because of its low solubility in organic solvent, so its process is simpler and the catalyst is easy to recycle for repeated use. As well, its preparation process is highly advantageous.
Abstract:
We disclose herein a viable, cost efficient method for the instantaneous production of hydrogen gas. Hydrogen gas production is increased by utilizing solar and lunar energy. The hydrogen gas is generated spontaneously by the reaction of sodium hydroxide and aluminum as corrosion occurs, forming a layer of aluminum oxide upon the aluminum. This aluminum oxide layer prevents further reaction of sodium hydroxide and aluminum, and thus no more hydrogen gas is produced. Production of aluminum oxide can be bypassed by adding acetic acid or sodium acetate to the reaction. In this reaction the products are aluminum hydroxide and hydrogen gas. Thus, we disclose herein a method that prevents of the formation of aluminum oxide by the use of sodium acetate or acetic acid, the use of iron as a catalyst, and the enhancement of the reaction using natural light.
Abstract:
A buckle structure contains a male buckle, two fastening arms, and a resilient sheet. The male buckle includes a first opening, a second opening opposite to the first opening, an external fence, and an accommodation cavity, wherein the external fence has two first orifices. Each of the two fastening arms includes a through hole, an engagement portion, a first abutting face, a second abutting face, and a column rotatably connected with the first orifice and the through hole so that the first abutting face and the second abutting face are located in the accommodation cavity of the male buckle, and the engagement portion of each fastening arm extends out of the first opening of the male buckle. The resilient sheet is formed in a U shape and includes a convex arc face and two contacting segments arranged on two ends of the resilient sheet respectively.
Abstract:
A flat panel display includes a four-color conversion unit, a backlight control unit, a backlight module, and a pixel array. The four-color conversion unit provides a first set of four color image signals corresponding to three color image input signals based on a preliminary conversion lookup table and provides corresponding conversion scaling factors. The backlight control unit generates a backlight adjusting factor based on the conversion scaling factors. The backlight module provides a backlight output having an intensity adjusted according to the backlight adjusting factor. The four-color conversion unit further provides a second set of four color image signals corresponding to the three color image input signals based on the backlight adjusting factor. The pixel array displays an image according to the second set of four color image signals and the backlight output.
Abstract:
A novel method for the removal and prevention of rust from corroded iron surfaces is disclosed. This is done by inducing reducing conditions at the interphase between the rusted surface and the attached aluminum surface. An iron coating provided by the reducing conditions surrounds the clean iron and creates a barrier against future rust. Our technology is an oxygen displacement technology which essentially removes rust from iron and iron based tools and structures. It is cost effective, non-invasive, environmentally friendly and can be mass produced.
Abstract:
A trigger assembly includes a body having a pivot and a hook is mounted to the pivot. The body has a chamber and a path communicates with the chamber. A first positioning unit is located in the path and a safety member is located in the chamber which has two slots and the first positioning unit contacts the slots. An activation member is located on the top of the safety member and has a guide groove and a positioning hole. A guide rod on the safety member is located in the guide groove. A second positioning unit is located in the body and contacts the positioning hole. A pivotal member is pivotably connected to the body and has an end contacting a push portion of the activation member. A spring is mounted to the protrusion and contacts the inside of the body. The trigger assembly includes two safety protections.
Abstract:
This invention discloses a defect isolation method for thin-film solar cell having at least a defect therein. The thin-film solar cell comprises a substrate, a front electrode layer, an absorber layer and a back electrode layer stacked in such a sequence. The defect isolation method includes the steps of: detecting at least a defect formed in thin-film solar cell and acquiring the positions of the defects, and applying a laser light to scribe the outer circumference of the defects according to the positions of the defects so as to form at least an isolation groove having a closed-curve configuration.
