Abstract: Provided are a method, a computer program and a device for noninvasively evaluating a state of a tear fluid and a tear fluid amount of a tear meniscus.
Included are a binarization step of binarizing a tear meniscus image, obtained by capturing at least a part of a tear meniscus of a subject, using a predetermined threshold value; an extraction step of extracting a high luminance region indicating a tear meniscus part from the binarized image; and an evaluation step of evaluating a tear fluid state on the basis of the high luminance region.

Abstract: An ophthalmic lens has a cross-sectional shape in an arbitrary meridian direction on a lens surface of the ophthalmic lens. The cross-sectional shape is expressed by the following formula (1), Z = c ⁢ r 2 1 + [ 1 - c 2 ⁢ r 2 ⁡ ( k + 1 ) ] 1 / 2 + A ⁡ ( θ ) ⁢ r 2 + B ⁡ ( θ ) ⁢ r 4 . In the formula, c is a paraxial curvature of the ophthalmic lens, r is a distance from a lens center of the ophthalmic lens, k is a conic constant of a surface which is in rotation symmetry with respect to an optical axis of the lens in the ophthalmic lens. The variables c, r and k are used in common in the meridian direction on the lens surface, and A(θ) and B(θ) are parameters expressed by functions depending on an angle in the meridian direction.

Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for evaluating a tear fluid to objectively evaluate and determine the severity of dry eye or the like. Color information is acquired in a predetermined region of a tear fluid interference fringe image, a numerical value representing a color diversity is calculated from the color information acquired, and the numerical value representing the color diversity thus calculated is used as an index for evaluating a tear fluid state.

Abstract: An ankle joint bandage includes a main body part of woven fabric in band shape, an anchor part of woven fabric joined to one end of the main body part and having a loop face of a touch fastener, and an engaging part joined to the other end of the main body part and having a hook face of a touch fastener. The main body part has a winding part which winds around an ankle of a wearer, a first supporting part which extends from an instep to the ankle, and a second supporting part which extends from the ankle to the instep of the wearer to cross the first supporting part at an upper portion of the instep of the wearer, the anchor part fastens around part corresponding to a metatarsal bone of the wearer, and the engaging part detachably sticks to the loop face of the anchor part.
