Abstract: A force sense imparting operation device that imparts a force sense in accordance with a load acting on an actuation device. The device includes an operation member, a displacement detector, a load detector, a force sense generator that imparts a force sense to an operator who operates the operation member, a current controller that performs an actual control and a preliminary control, the actual control increasing the force sense imparted by the force sense generator by increasing an excitation current in response to an increase in the load, the preliminary control supplying the excitation current to an excitation coil prior to the actual control, the excitation current supplied by the preliminary control being set to a preliminary current value lower than the excitation current supplied to the excitation coil under the actual control, and a current supplying portion that supplies the excitation current to the excitation coil.

Abstract: Provided is a rim width adjustment mechanism for the tire testing machine, capable of being reduced in the number of components and miniaturized. The rim width adjustment mechanism includes a lower spindle for rotatably supporting the tire about a vertical axis through the lower rim, a plunger disposed in a through hole of the lower spindle to be raisable and lowerable to the lower spindle and having an upper end connectable to the upper spindle, and a rim width adjustment cylinder for adjusting the rim width by changing the protrusion length of the plunger beyond the lower spindle. The lower spindle is coupled to a cylinder side wall of the rim-width adjustment cylinder, thereby allowing a downward load applied to the lower spindle to be supported by the cylinder sidewall.

Abstract: A hydraulic rotary machine configured to reduce sliding resistance of a reciprocating piston and to suppress a reduction in volumetric efficiency corresponding to an amount of leakage of hydraulic oil. A piston pump includes a rotor shaft, a cylinder block, a piston head, a piston rod, a retainer, a swash plate, and a tilt regulation mechanism. When the tilt regulation mechanism rocks the swash plate, the amount of discharge from the piston pump is variably changed. The retainer which rotates with both the piston head and the piston rod is supported by a retainer bush provided to the rotor shaft. The retainer sphere section of the retainer and the retainer bush sphere section of the retainer bush have spherical shapes having the same curvature. During the regulation of tilt, the retainer rocks while the retainer bush sphere section is in sliding contact with the retainer bush.

Abstract: A method for joining members according to the present invention includes: providing a first member, a second member, a guide shaft member, a rubber member, a first plunger, a second plunger, and a drive mechanism; inserting the second member into a hole portion of the first member; inserting the guide shaft member into a through-hole of the rubber member; inserting the rubber member, into which the guide shaft member is inserted, inside the second member; arranging an assembly in which the first member, the second member, the rubber member, and the guide shaft member so as to horizontally extend; arranging the assembly so as to be sandwiched by the first plunger and the second plunger; and moving the second plunger toward the first plunger; compressing the rubber member by the first plunger and the second plunger in a direction where the guide shaft member extends, and expanding the rubber member radially outside the guide shaft member; and thus expanding and deforming at least a portion of the second member that is inserted into the hole portion to join the portion to the first member by press-fitting.
