From a storage part wherein information relating to positions where deterioration of a communication quality or a radio quality is confirmed and information relating to the radio conditions at the positions are associated with each other, a margin design system extracts positions where the radio conditions are equal, estimates the radio quality at the positions by the radio propagation simulator, and calculates the margin of a radio quality estimated value on the basis of the estimated radio quality.

摘要： A space-dividing apparatus for a single-leaf section, a divider etc. A division plate section constitutes a single-leaf screen device and divides a space. On a front surface of the division plate section, nine TV receiving sets are arranged in a matrix shape and an attachable/detachable manner. On a back surface of the division plate section, nine image pickup elements are mounted to, for example, positions that correspond to the TV receiving sets respectively, when each are detached. An imaging direction of each of the image pickup elements can be automatically aligned with a line of sight of the user based on a position of the user (position of a remote controller). An image due to a video signal obtained by each of the image pickup elements can be displayed on the TV receiving sets, thereby permitting the user to observe the other side of the division plate section easily.

摘要： A failure cause analysis system for estimating a cause of a failure in a communication network from recorded contents of internal processing of a communication apparatus includes: feature extraction means for extracting a statistical feature of the recorded contents at a time of occurrence of a failure; and failure cause estimation means for estimating a failure cause based on similarity between a statistical feature of the recorded contents that is acquired at a time of occurrence of a past failure with a known failure cause and the statistical feature of the recorded contents that is acquired at the time of occurrence of the failure. The failure cause analysis system of a communication network provided can acquire the correspondence between failure features and failure causes from past failure cases irrespective of the number of cases as to communication network failures that are detected from process logs retained in communication apparatuses, and quantitatively incorporate the range of dispersion of the features into a judgment to estimate the cause of occurrence of a failure.

摘要： When an accessory switch of a vehicle is turned on, a TFT display device in an instrument panel is in a magnified display mode, where a navigation image is displayed in a magnified area of a navigation display area with no meter images displayed. A driver is therefore allowed to attentively view the navigation image in order to perform a route set or to change scales of a displayed map. When the driver further turns on an ignition switch, the magnified display mode is switched to a normal display mode. In the normal display mode, a meter display area and a vehicle state display area coexist with the navigation display area in the TFT display device; a navigation image is displayed in a normal area of the navigation display area with a meter image, e.g., a speed meter image, and a warning indicator image displayed simultaneously.

Favorite data indicating operations, such as fast-forward, pause, and rewind operations, performed while the content is being played back, and personal user information, such as the age group, the gender, and the life-style, of the content user are transferred to a server via a network. The server performs statistical processing on the user favorite data to generate value-added information according to the attributes of the user, such as the age group, the gender, and the life-style. Accordingly, the user is able to search for popular titles, play back only popular scenes, and skip uninteresting scenes by using a content playback apparatus.

摘要： When an ignition switch is turned on to display an image on a display apparatus, the display apparatus first displays a needle image of meter images and a warning indicator image. Out of the meter images, the display apparatus displays the needle image for a specified time period (e.g., 0.2 seconds), and then displays a dial image. After displaying the dial image for a specified time period, the display apparatus displays a navigation image. The specified time period may be set to 0.5 through 1.0 second, for example, long enough to visually check or recognize display of the meter image and the warning indicator image. Accordingly, it is possible to visually check the meter image and the warning indicator image while the navigation image is not displayed.
