The method further includes generating, by the source AN, N second end marker(s) based on the first end marker, where N is a number of source data radio bearers (DRBs) corresponding to the source path, and sending, by the source AN, the N second end marker(s) to a target AN through a forwarding path corresponding to the source path.

Abstract: Example end marker sending methods are described. In one example method, a user plane gateway (UP GW) determines when to send an end marker based on trigger information, so as to sort one or more downlink data packets received on a target user plane path based on the end marker. The UP GW receives trigger information and an identifier (ID) of a source user plane path of user equipment (UE) that are sent by a control plane (CP) node, where the UP GW is located on the source user plane path. The UP GW sends an end marker to an access network (AN) node on the source user plane path based on the trigger information and the ID of the source user plane path.

Abstract: Method and an apparatus for determining a bearer for mobile edge computing are disclosed. A Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) can obtain a data packet that includes an end marker. The MEC can obtain a bearer identifier and an identifier of UE in a handover procedure according to the data packet that includes the end maker, and requests information about the second bearer from a node of a second bearer. The request can include the bearer identifier of the UE and the identifier of the UE. The node of the second bearer can return a response message and information regarding the second bearer according to the request. The MEC can receive the response message and store the information regarding the second bearer according to the identifier of the UE and the bearer identifier of the UE.

Abstract: The present application discloses an application migration method in a mobile edge system, a related device, and a system. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field, and provide an MEC platform handover method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: receiving a handover notification sent by a handover notification device, where the handover notification device is a source access network device of to-be-handed-over UE or a target MEC platform of the to-be-handed-over UE; determining a TEID of the to-be-handed-over UE according to the handover notification; obtaining context of the to-be-handed-over UE according to the TEID of the to-be-handed-over UE; and sending the context to the target MEC platform. The present invention resolves a problem that provision of application data by an MEC platform to UE is interrupted when the UE is being handed over between access network devices, thereby providing continuous services to the UE. The present invention is applicable to a handover between MEC platforms.
