摘要： In a color ink jet recording system for performing color image recording on a recording medium using a plurality of recording heads and different color inks, the thinning ratio for at least one (e.g., black K) of the recording heads is set to be different from the thinning ratio for the remaining recording heads (e.g., cyan C, and the like). The total implantation quantity of the black ink can be twice the normal quantity without increasing the number of times of scan operations, and without causing boundary blur, and the print density of black can be increased.

摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus for recording information by ejecting ink fluid on a recording medium includes a recording head, a cap, an ejection restoration mechanism, an atmospheric air opening mechanism and a heating mechanism. The recording head has an orifice and ejects ink fluid from the orifice. The cap covers up a face on which the orifice of the recording head is disposed. The ejection restoration mechanism performs procedures for keeping a state of ejection of ink fluid by the recording head to be good by discharging ink fluid into the cap. The atmospheric air opening mechanism makes an inside of the cap opened to an atmospheric air when the restoration operations are being performed by the ejection restoration mechanism. The heating mechanism heats the recording head at least before the restoration operation is performed by the ejection restoration mechanism.

摘要： A liquid jetting device includes a plurality of liquid passages each having a liquid ejecting element and communicating with an ejection hole, a common liquid chamber communicating with each of the plurality of liquid passages and an air bubble introducer for making a non-disappearable air bubble formed by thermal energy exist in the common liquid chamber before a start of liquid ejection. The liquid is allowed to be ejected in the presence of the air bubble. The non-disappearable air bubble functions as a buffer to absorb pressure during discharge to restrict flow of the ink in the direction opposite to the discharge port.

The apparatus includes a head temperature detection member provided for the recording head, a reference temperature detection member provided for the main body, and a timer means for counting time. The apparatus further includes a correction amount determination section for determining a correction amount of a head temperature detected by the head temperature detection member based on a detected value of the head temperature detection member and a detected value of the reference temperature detection member at a predetermined time counted by the timer means. A calibration section is provided for calibrating a head temperature detected by the head temperature detection member based on the correction amount.
