Abstract:
A wireless communications component that supports a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. After the wireless communications component establishes a connection with a second RAT network, the wireless communications component receives a first message sent by the second RAT network. The first message includes content that is used to query a second RAT capability of the wireless communications component. The wireless communications component sends a second message to the second RAT network. The second message is used to indicate the second RAT capability of the wireless communications component and indicate that the wireless communications component does not support the first RAT. Because the wireless communications component reports to the second RAT network that the wireless communications component does not support the first RAT, the second RAT network does not instruct the wireless communications component to be changed to the first RAT.
Abstract:
A method for detecting coverage of a target network, including acquiring a list of carrier frequencies of a target network that covers a position of an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) terminal; sending, to the eUICC terminal, a frequency measurement request that carries the list of carrier frequencies, so that the eUICC terminal performs frequency measurement for each carrier frequency in the list of carrier frequencies; and receiving a frequency measurement report reported by the eUICC terminal. A corresponding apparatus, including a subscription management entity, a network device, and an eUICC terminal. According to the technical solutions of the present disclosure, a coverage status of a target network to be switched to can be detected before switching.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for triggering communication between a group of MTC devices and an MTC server, and an MTC device. The method includes: receiving an MTC request message sent by a machine type communications MTC server, where the MTC request message carries a group ID of the group of MTC devices and a communication notification message for the group of MTC devices; obtaining area information of the group of MTC devices; and sending the area information, the group ID of the group of MTC devices, and the communication notification message for the group of MTC devices to a cell broadcast center CBC, so that the CBC sends a broadcast message to a device in an area, where the broadcast message includes the group ID of the group of MTC devices and the communication notification message for the group of MTC devices.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a device for switching a subscription manager-secure routing device. The method includes: acquiring, by a second SM-SR from a first SM-SR, a PIC corresponding to an eUICC; acquiring, by the second SM-SR from a second SM-DP, a second PP that is encrypted by using the PIC; generating, by the second SM-SR, a key pair including a public key and a private key; sending, by the second SM-SR, the second PP and the public key to the eUICC through the first SM-SR, so that the eUICC accesses the second SM-SR after deactivating a first PP and activating the second PP; and encrypting, by the second SM-SR, a second PMC by using the private key, and sending an encrypted second PMC to the eUICC, so that the eUICC accesses the mobile network through the second SM-SR.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method, an apparatus, and a terminal for answering a call and relates to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes, after a call is received from a calling party, answering the call by using an automatic call answering function of a terminal, and talking with the calling party. If an instruction is received from an owner in the process of talking with the calling party, an operation is performed according to the instruction of the owner. If no instruction is received from an owner in the process of talking with the calling party, an emergency level of the call according to call content is determined, and an operation is performed according to the determined emergency level.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a terminal triggering terminal and a related device, where, the terminal triggering method includes: receiving, by a network device, a trigger request message sent by a server to a terminal, where, the trigger request message is configured to trigger the terminal to set up a data connection with the server; sending, when the network device determines that the terminal is unable to set up a data connection with the server, indicating information used to indicates data gateway overload or indicating information used to indicate that an access point name corresponding to the server is congested, so that the server suspends sending a subsequent trigger request message to the terminal.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, a system, and a device for transmitting information. The transmission method includes receiving a first request message. The first request message includes first information, which includes trigger information and/or small data. A paging message is sent to a terminal device. A second request message is sent by the terminal device according to the paging message. The first information is sent to the terminal device after receiving the second request message.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method, a system, a terminal, an MSC server, and an SCC application server for transferring a video call between access networks. The method includes: pre-negotiating, in a PS domain and through IMS signaling, a CS video call parameter; and, after a video call of a terminal is transferred from the PS domain to a CS domain, establishing a CS video call according to the pre-negotiated CS video call parameter. By using the technical solutions of the present invention, the CS video call parameter is pre-negotiated before the video call of the terminal is transferred from the PS domain to the CS domain, and after transfer to the CS domain, the CS video call is established by directly using the pre-negotiated CS video call parameter.
