    Abstract: A data packet transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: An IAB donor determines first configuration information, where the first configuration information is used to indicate a first backhaul link BH RLC channel, and the first BH RLC channel is used to transmit a control protocol data unit PDU at a backhaul adaptation protocol BAP layer. The IAB donor sends the first configuration information to an IAB node. According to the foregoing procedure, the IAB donor indicates, by using the first configuration information, the IAB node to send the control PDU at the BAP layer through the first BH RLC channel, to implement bearer mapping when the IAB node needs to send the control PDU at the BAP layer.

    Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes that an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor distributed unit receives downlink data and service attribute information of downlink data that are sent by an IAB donor centralized unit. The IAB donor distributed unit maps the downlink data to a corresponding backhaul radio link control channel (BH RLC) channel based on the service attribute information of the downlink data or based on the service attribute information of the downlink data and access IAB node address information of the downlink data, and sends the downlink data to a next-hop IAB node.

    Abstract: A transmission mode selection method and a device are provided. The method includes: determining first indication information, where the first indication information is used to indicate a changed transmission mode and/or indicate to change a transmission mode; and sending the first indication information to a terminal device. There may be a plurality of transmission modes for transmitting a data packet duplicated at a PDCP layer, in other words, there may be a plurality of modes for PDCP duplication. A transmission mode can be selected by using the first indication information. For example, when reliability of a mode for PDCP duplication is not high, another transmission mode can be selected by using the first indication information. In this way, a reliability requirement of a service is met as much as possible, thereby improving transmission quality of the service.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell handover method and a device. so that the target eNB uses a current serving small node as a user plane serving node after UE is handed over and uses the target eNB as a control plane serving node after the UE is handed over; receiving a handover request acknowledgment sent by the target eNB; and sending offloading configuration information of the current serving small node to the current serving small node, and sending RRC reconfiguration information of the UE to the UE, so that offloading configuration is performed separately by the current serving small node and the UE. This avoids a problem that in a cell handover process, a transmission resource required for transmission increases and a delay is relatively great because the current serving small node forwards a large amount of data to the target eNB.
