    摘要: A variable speed power tool may include a speed adjusting device and/or a maximum speed adjusting device for adjusting the operating speed, and a fixed operating speed switch. An operator adjustable speed adjusting device having a position maintaining mechanism also may be utilized. When manipulated by the operator, the fixed operating speed switch gives priority to the adjusted position of the speed adjusting device and adjusts the operating speed to a preset operating speed. In the alternative, a switching device and an internal integrated circuit may be utilized to adjust the operating speed to a target speed using feedback control. The switching device preferably selects a voltage corresponding to the target speed from either a voltage representative of the position of the speed adjusting device or a predetermined voltage representative of the present operating speed.

    摘要: An exothermic apparatus uses heat generated by the combustion of gas fuel or liquid fuel. The exothermic apparatus comprises a mixing section in which fuel gas and air are mixed with each other; and a casing disposed downstream of the mixing section and accommodating a combustion chamber. A fin provided in the combustion chamber is substantially parallel with the flow direction of mixed gas. A catalyst layer is in close contact with an inner surface of the combustion chamber and an outer surface of the fin. In this manner, fuel gas is efficiently brought in contact with the surface of the catalyst layer and the temperature of the catalyst is prevented from fluctuating even though heating quantity in an exothermic section changes. Thus, catalytic combustion can be reliably accomplished in the compact combustion chamber.

When the hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure supply source has been abnormally reduced, a braking pressure from the auxiliary hydraulic pressure generating unit is applied to the brake device in response to an opening of the on-off valve. During braking in a condition in which the hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure supply source is normal, the operation of the hydraulic pressure regulating unit avoids the hydraulic pressure from the auxiliary hydraulic pressure generating unit from being applied to the brake device.

    摘要: In a hydraulic braking pressure control system comprising an auxiliary hydraulic pressure generator connected to a brake device for generating a hydraulic pressure depending upon a braking operation by a brake pedal; a supply source; a supply source pressure control device controlling the pressure from the supply source in accordance with the braking operation by the brake pedal; pressure transmitting device interposed in a hydraulic pressure path extending from the supply source via the supply source pressure control device to the brake device arranged to permit the transmission of the hydraulic pressure output from the supply source pressure control device to the brake device when the hydraulic pressure in the supply source is normal and to cut off the flowing of a working fluid from the brake device toward the supply source when the hydraulic pressure in the supply source is abnormally reduced; and an on-off valve interposed between the auxiliary hydraulic pressure generator and the brake device, having a pilot chamber leading to an output port of the supply source pressure control device, and adapted to be closed in response to an increase in the hydraulic pressure in the pilot chamber. The on-off valve is closed by rising of the output hydraulic pressure from the supply source pressure control device prior to rising of the output hydraulic pressure from the auxiliary hydraulic pressure generator during a braking operation by the brake pedal.
