摘要: A vehicle braking system includes a wheel cylinder, a master cylinder, a brake pedal operable to transmit a user input force to the master cylinder, a primary braking unit including a first electronically controlled pressure generating unit distinct from the master cylinder and operable to generate a braking force at the wheel cylinder in a first mode of operation, a secondary braking unit including a second electronically controlled pressure generating unit distinct from the master cylinder and operable to generate a braking force at the wheel cylinder in a second mode of operation and a pedal feel simulator operable to provide feedback to the brake pedal according to a fixed characteristic of the pedal feel simulator defining a predetermined force-stroke relationship relating a travel distance of the brake pedal to the user input force. In the first mode of operation, the secondary braking unit is operable to receive fluid from the master cylinder to diverge from the predetermined force-stroke relationship at the brake pedal.

The electric brake system performs a normal operation mode having a low pressure mode and a high pressure mode, an abnormal operation mode and an inspection mode.

摘要: A braking control system of a vehicle includes a pressure control device that regulates brake fluid flow to a brake caliper of a wheel from a brake fluid cylinder. A pressure sensor measures a pressure of the brake fluid applied to the brake caliper. A filter module filters the measured pressure based on a rotational frequency of the wheel. The filtering produces a filtered pressure of the brake fluid applied to the brake caliper. A target pressure module sets a target pressure for the brake fluid for application to the brake caliper. A difference module determines a pressure difference between the filtered pressure and the target pressure. A pressure control module actuates the pressure control device based on the pressure difference.

The present invention also relates to a hydraulic brake system for a vehicle and to a method for operating a hydraulic brake system of a vehicle.

If the operation amount for a braking operation member is less than a prescribed value, the control means puts the opening/closing means in a connected state, puts the first electric motor in an electricity-supplied state, and puts the second electric motor in a non-electricity-supplied state.
