    摘要: The antenna apparatus includes first to fourth antenna elements successively arranged at regular angular intervals around the central point on the same plane and respectively having first to fourth feed points, and a phase shifter delaying the phase of the received electric wave approximately by 90 degrees. The unidirectivity of the antenna apparatus is controlled in four directions of 0 degree, 90 degrees, 180 degrees and 270 degrees by selectively connecting the first to fourth feed points, the phase shifter and a television receiver. Therefore, multipath interference in these directions can be suppressed.

    摘要: A radiator includes two dipole elements as plate-shaped conductors. The radiator further includes two conductive line portions provided on opposite sides of a prescribed axis, sandwiching both of the two dipole elements, each having one end connected to one dipole element and the other end connected to the other dipole element. The two conductive line portions are formed to conform to the shapes of the dipole elements. As the conductive line portions having such shapes are connected to the dipole elements, better characteristics can be attained over wide frequency range and the size can be made smaller than the conventional radiator. Thus, an antenna having smaller size and improved characteristics can be provided.

The antenna elements (2, 4) are connected to a combiner (16) via feeders (12, 14) having different lengths. The difference in length between the feeders (12, 14) is such that received signals resulting from a radio wave coming to the antenna elements (2, 4) from the front and received by the antenna elements (12, 14) are in phase with each other at the inputs (16a, 16b) of the combiner (16), whereas received signals resulting from a radio wave coming to the antenna elements (2, 4) from the back and received by the antenna elements (12, 14) are 180° out of phase with each other at the inputs (16a, 16b) of the combiner (16).

PIN diodes (28a, 34a) are connected between the respective extension elements (24a, 26a) and the respective outer ends of the dipole antenna (4a). When a radio wave in the UHF band is to be received, a control unit (180) places the diodes (28a, 34a) selectively in a state in which both are opened, a state in which one of the diodes (28a) is closed while the other (34a) is opened, and a state in which the one diode (28a) is opened while the other (34a) is closed.

    摘要: A martensitic heat-resisting steel comprises, in terms of % by mass, 0.01 to 0.30% of C, 0.02 of 0.80% of Si, 0.20 to 1.00% of Mn, 5.00 to 18.00% of Cr, 0.005 to 1.00% of Mo, 0.20 to 3.50% of W, 0.02 to 1.00% of V, 0.01 to 0.50% of Nb, 0.01 to 0.25% of N, and at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Ta and Hf in an amount of 0.005 to 2.0% for each of the elements, the volume of (Ti %+Zr %+Ta %+Hf %) in the metal component M of M.sub.23 C.sub.6 type carbides therein being from 5 to 65%. The heat-resisting steel is produced by a process comprising the steps ofadding Ti, Zr, Ta and Hf to a molten steel having chemical components as mentioned above, during the period from 10 minutes before completion of refining to completion of refining, casting said molten steel, working the resulting casting, solution treating said worked product, subjecting said worked product to temporary cooling stop at a temperature from 950.degree. to 1,000.degree. C. in the course of cooling said hot worked product, and holding said worked product at the temperature for 5 to 60 minutes. The heat-resisting steel is excellent in HAZ-softening resistance, and exhibits a high creep strength at high temperature of at least 550.degree. C.
