摘要： An ink and processing liquid set contains a processing liquid to be applied to a recording medium, the processing liquid comprising a multivalent metal salt and an ink to be applied to an area of the recording medium where the processing liquid has been applied, the ink comprising a urethane resin, a styrene-acrylic resin, and a pigment, wherein the following relations are satisfied: 0.5≤B/C≤0.7, where B represents a static surface tension of the ink and C represents a static surface tension of the processing liquid; and 0.5≤E/D≤0.9, and 35 (mN/m)≤E≤55 (mN/m), where D represents a dynamic surface tension at 15 ms of the processing liquid and E represents a dynamic surface tension at 1500 ms of the processing liquid.

摘要： The present invention provides an image forming apparatus which is equipped with at least a latent electrostatic image forming unit, a developing unit, a transferring unit, and a fixing unit, wherein the transferring unit is configured to apply a positive electric potential to a visible image formed on the latent electrostatic image bearing member via a recording medium, the latent electrostatic image member has a surface layer which comprises a hardened material hardened by irradiating at least a trifunctional or more radical polymerizable compound having no charge transporting structure, a radical polymerizable compound having a charge transporting structure, and a reactive silicone compound having any one of an acryloyloxy group and a methacryloyloxy group, and the concentration of the reactive silicone compound is varied in between the surface part and the innerlayer part of the surface layer.

摘要： The present invention provides an electrophotographic photoconductor capable of reducing latent electrostatic image stability defects caused by adhesion/adsorption of an electric discharge product formed by a charger in an image forming process, degradation of charge transportability and cleaning defects caused when removing a residual toner. The electrophotographic photoconductor has a conductive substrate, and a photosensitive layer which contains at least a binder, a charge generating material and a charge transporting material and is formed on the substrate, wherein the photosensitive layer contains an injection material composed of at least any one of one wax selected from paraffin waxes, Fisher-Tropsh waxes, polyolefin waxes and a polyorganosiloxane compound in an area from the surface of the photosensitive layer to 50% of the thickness thereof in the thickness direction of the electrophotographic photoconductor, and the content of the injection material is 3% by mass or more to the content of the binder.
