摘要： A patient support apparatus is convertible between a bed position, having a generally horizontal sleeping surface upon which a person lies in a supine position, and a chair egress position, allowing a person to exit the support from a sitting position. The patient support comprises a deck, a foot panel coupled to the deck, and an inflatable bladder assembly coupled to the foot panel. The inflatable bladder assembly is coupled to the foot panel and both the foot panel and inflatable bladder assembly are removable from the deck.

摘要： A patient support apparatus includes a frame, a plurality of casters coupled to the frame, and a wheel supported with respect to the frame and movable between a lowered position engaging a floor and a raised position spaced from the floor. The patient support apparatus also has a drive assembly with a first mode of operation coupled to the wheel and operable to drive the wheel to propel the patient support apparatus along the floor and a second mode of operation decoupled from the wheel so that the wheel is free to rotate when the wheel is in the lowered position and the patient support apparatus is moved along the floor. A first user input is provided to move the wheel between the raised and lowered positions and a second user input is provided to signal the drive assembly to drive the wheel.

摘要： A patient support apparatus includes a deck configured to support a mattress assembly thereon; and a footboard removably coupled to the deck. The footboard includes a latch mechanism movable between a locked position wherein the latch mechanism is engaged with the deck to prevent the footboard from being removed from the deck and an unlocked position wherein the latch mechanism is disengaged from the deck to allow the footboard to be removed from the deck. The footboard further includes a tool-receiving device coupled to the latch mechanism and configured to receive a tool therein in order to move the latch mechanism from the locked position to the unlocked position.
