摘要: An apparatus and method for delivering fluid from a syringe to a subject using a pumping device of a flow control apparatus. The method includes locating the flow control apparatus on a horizontal support surface. Providing the syringe with a volume of fluid including a total amount of preferred nutrient and an amount of non-preferred nutrient liquid. Mounting the syringe relative to the flow control apparatus whereby the syringe is oriented in a generally vertical orientation such that an outlet of the syringe faces upward. Initiating operation of the pumping device to draw the fluid from the syringe for a duration of time to preferentially deliver at least a portion of the total amount of preferred nutrient in the fluid to the subject.

The dialysate supply-and-discharge unit includes a water removal control part to control an amount of water removed from the blood. The extracorporeal circulation unit is configured as a separate component from the dialysate supply-and-discharge unit.

摘要: An aerosol delivery system that includes an aerosol generator that aerosolizes a fluid for delivery to a patient as a patient inhales. The aerosol delivery system includes a pump coupled to the aerosol generator that pumps the fluid to the aerosol generator, and a breath sensor that emits a signal as the patient breathes. A controller couples to the aerosol generator, the pump, and the breath sensor. In operation, the controller receives the signal from the breath sensor, controls a flow of fluid to the aerosol generator in response to the signal, and controls the aerosol generator to start aerosolizing the fluid before the patient inhales.

摘要: A blood purification apparatus that includes a blood circuit including an arterial blood circuit and a venous blood circuit and that allows a patient's blood to extracorporeally circulate, with a blood purifier that is interposed between the arterial blood circuit and the venous blood circuit and purifies; a dialysate temporary chamber that temporarily stores dialysate received from a dialysate storage supported by a supporting unit; a substitution-fluid temporary chamber that temporarily stores substitution fluid received from a substitution-fluid storage supported by the supporting unit; a first dialysate introduction line through which the dialysate in the dialysate storage flows into the dialysate temporary chamber; and a substitution line through which the substitution fluid in the substitution-fluid storage flows into the substitution-fluid temporary chamber. The blood purification apparatus includes a dialysate transfer pump provided to the first dialysate introduction line and that transfers the dialysate in the dialysate storage to the dialysate temporary chamber, a substitution-fluid transfer pump provided to the substitution line and that transfers the substitution fluid in the substitution-fluid storage to the substitution-fluid temporary chamber, and a control unit that controls the dialysate transfer pump and the substitution-fluid transfer pump.
