Abstract: A broadcast signal transmission method is disclosed. The broadcast signal transmission method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: processing video data and audio data; encoding a broadcast service component, including the video data and audio data, and service layer signaling (SLS) information on the broadcast service component on the basis of a delivery protocol; subjecting the broadcast service component, the SLS information, and service list table (SLT) information to IP packetization; and subjecting the broadcast service component, the SLS information, and the SLT information to physical layer processing.

Abstract: A method of processing information in a digital receiver connected to an external input source includes receiving uncompressed data of a broadcast service from the external input source, the broadcast service delivered based on either a Real-Time Object Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) protocol or an MPEG Media Transport (MMT) protocol; extracting an audio watermark from the uncompressed data; making a request to a specific server using domain type and server code of the audio watermark to form a first URL; receiving a recovery file including a second URL used to retrieve signaling files needed to access and present a supplementary content; retrieving the signaling files using the second URL in the recovery file; and presenting the supplementary content based on the signaling files. Further, timing information included in the recovery file is used to synchronize the supplementary content with the uncompressed data from the external input source.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a broadcast signal in a digital transmitter, includes generating transport packets of transport streams including service data; generating link layer packet including the transport packets; the link layer packet including a base header including configuration information indicating a configuration of a payload of the link layer packet, the link layer packet further including an additional header including information for segmentation or concatenation based on the configuration of the payload, and the additional header further including information representing that an optional header for a sub-stream identification identifier is present after the additional header, the link layer packet further including an optional header having the sub-stream identification identifier; generating signaling information including link mapping information between the sub-stream identifier and an IP address and an UDP port carrying a transport stream for the sub-stream identifier; generating a broadcast signal including the link layer packet and the signaling information; and transmitting the broadcast signal.
