Abstract: The present specification proposes a method for transmitting or receiving emergency information in a wireless communication system supporting machine type communication and a device therefor. Specifically, the method performed by a terminal may comprise the steps of: receiving discontinuous reception (DRX)-related information from a base station through radio resource control (RRC) signaling; receiving a paging message from the base station on the basis of the DRX-related information; and transmitting a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble to the base station on the basis of the paging message emergency.
