摘要: The present invention relates to a shutter time control circuit for a camera having a focal plane shutter and a timer circuit for counting the shutter time in a digital way. In accordance with the present invention a preset means for presetting the amount of the overlapping of the shutter curtain and/or the response delay of the magnet on the timer circuit as digital values is provided in such a manner that the clock time is compensated in accordance with the preset digital value so as to compensate the exposure error due to the overlapping amount of the shutter curtains and so on, which makes it possible to offer a digital exposure compensation device suited for the camera having a shutter control circuit for digitally controlling the shutter time.

摘要: A storage device for storing photographic exposure information employs a closed-loop analog-to-digital (A-D) converter circuit includes a counter and a digital-to-analog (D-A) converter. The influence of erroneous signals which are created at the output of the D-A converter when the exposure information is stored in the counter is eliminated. The D-A converter circuit employs a ladder network of coarse accuracy. The stored exposure value, however, is highly accurate because of the closed-loop nature of the A-D converter circuit. Means responsive to the stored value for operating the exposure system of the camera are disclosed.

摘要: In the exposure time control device disclosed, a first timer sets a first time interval equal to a desired exposure time but establishes an exposure time in the shutter different from the desired exposure time. A second timing arrangement forms a compensation time interval. Suitable means maintain the opening of the shutter for a total time equal to the given time interval and the compensation time interval so that the shutter is open for the desired exposure time. A control shortens the given time interval formed by the first timing arrangement by a predetermined time interval so that the given time interval formed is shorter than the desired exposure time. This permits compensation not only for errors which tend to shorten the exposure time, but also those which tend to lengthen the exposure time.

摘要: In the disclosed camera, an exposure value determining arrangement produces an electrical signal in response to a light measuring facility and a film sensitivity setting device. An exposure factor unit determines a combination of shutter speed and aperture value for a proper exposure in response to the exposure value determining arrangement. A control connected to the exposure factor unit varies the combination of exposure factors in the exposure factor unit in response to the set position of a program constant setting arrangement which is set for a particular program constant.

摘要: In the combination of a camera and a motor drive unit, an exposure adjusting device is provided. This exposure adjusting device is manually controllable either by rotating a diaphragm adjusting ring that is in engagement with a presetting ring. This rotation is followed up by a scanning member which is coupled to a variable resistor that is connected in a control circuit for an exposure meter to attain correct adjustment of the diaphragm value and shutter time in conformity with the available light conditions. This exposure adjusting device also is automatically controllable through operative connection of the diaphragm scanning member with a control member which is provided in the unit. The control member movement is initiated and terminated by means of an electromagnetic actuator and arrest respectively with electrical power supply from a unit battery. With the camera detached from the unit, manually presetting the diaphragm is only selective, but the consumption of electrical energy from the camera battery is minimized. The driving torque of the film winding lever, moreover, is reduced by an amount necessary to overcome a strong drive spring for the diaphragm scanning control member.

摘要: A camera having a control system for coordinating the release actuator and electronic shutter with either one of a battery and an electric generator incorporated therein. As the battery has lost electrical energy, the removal of the battery from the camera enables the coordinating system to restrict the manual setting of an exposure time within faster limits and to supply electrical power from the generator to at least that portion of the automatic exposure control circuit which contributes to manual exposure control during the second stroke of the shutter release button, provided that the necessary mechanical energy for driving the generator was created and stored on suitable means during the preceding cycle of film winding operation.

摘要: An automatic exposure control system for cameras of flash photographic capabilities which is switched to either of the daylight or the mode depending upon whether or not a storage capacitor across which a flash tube is connected is sufficiently charged. The system comprises first and second computers for deriving daylight and flash exposure aperture values respectively, a diaphragm control circuit selectively receptive of the outputs of the computers through a first switch, first and second timing circuits for providing daylight and flash exposure times respectively, and a shutter control circuit selectively receptive of the outputs of the timing circuits through a second switch. The system is characterized in the use of a single mode selection actuator which is common to the first and second switches and which causes an automatic selection of the flash mode when the camera release occurs after the attainment of the voltage of the storage capacitor to the normal firing level. Thus, it is made possible to prevent occurrence of an event where the flash tube is actuated for firing with the simultaneous occurrence of selection of the flash exposure time, while the daylight exposure aperture remains effective, as the storage capacitor voltage reaches the normal firing level at a point in time during the daylight exposure operation.

This produces the advantage of substantially improving the accuracy of exposure control, because the closing operation of the shutter is controlled through movement of the armature.
