A compact frequency multiplier can perform high-degree frequency multiplication and can be incorporated in a wireless device. The frequency multiplier includes an input terminal for inputting an input signal, a first resonant circuit resonating with the frequency &ohgr; of the input signal, a second resonant circuit and an idler circuit, which resonate with the frequency n·&ohgr; that is, n times the frequency of the input signal, a variable reactor such as a varactor diode, coupling-adjusting capacitors, a bias resistor, and an output terminal for outputting multiplied output signals. In one embodiment, the frequency multiplier is a current-excitation type. The first resonant circuit and the second resonant circuit, each of which is constituted of an LC series resonant circuit, are connected in series between the input terminal and the output terminal. In addition, a parallel circuit constituted of the idler circuit and the varactor diode is connected to a connection point between the first and second resonant circuits and the input terminal and the output terminal.

The invention provides a composite high frequency component constituting a part of a microwave circuit having plural signal paths corresponding to their respective frequencies, comprising: a diplexer for coupling transmitting signals from the plural signal paths for transmission and distributing receiving signals into said plural signal paths for reception; plural high frequency switches for separating the plural signal paths into a transmission section and a reception section, respectively; plural filters introduced in the signal paths; said diplexer, said high frequency switch, and said filters being integrated into a ceramic multi-layer substrate formed by lamination of plural ceramic sheet layers. According to the above described composite high frequency component, the diplexer, the high frequency switches, and the filters which constitute the composite high frequency component are integrated into the ceramic multi-layer substrate formed by lamination of plural ceramic sheet layers. Thus, the matching and adjustment between the diplexer and the high frequency switches can be easily performed. It is unnecessary to provide a matching circuit for matching and adjusting the diplexer and the high frequency switches, and moreover, the high frequency switches and the filters.

The SLA holder has two opposing walls to hold the lens assembly therebetween. One of the opposing walls has a first reference surface with which the optical axis of the lens assembly is in a predetermined positional relation and urges the lens assembly against the other of the opposing walls. The base houses the LED circuit board and the SLA holder therein. The base has a second reference surface such that the optical axis is placed in position with respect to the LED arrays when the second reference surface is in intimate contact with the first reference surface. An engagement member holds the holder and the base together so that the first and second reference surfaces are in intimate contact with each other.

Alternatively a pair of sliding pins mounted on the counterweight mounting frame may be extended into inverted V shaped notches on the counterweight bottom so as to support the counter weight. The counterweight can then be fastened on the counterweight mounting frame. Later the counterweight can be removed.
