    Abstract: Various embodiments may provide streaming service downlink assistance and/or uplink assistance mechanisms for a wireless device using attention (AT) commands exchanged between a modem processor of the wireless device and another processor of the wireless device. Various embodiments may include an AT command that is a bitrate recommendation action command including an indication of a stream identifier, an indication of a requested bitrate, and an indication of a direction. Various embodiments may include an AT response that is a bitrate recommendation response, the bitrate recommendation response including an indication of a stream identifier, an indication of a bitrate recommendation, and an indication of a direction.

    Abstract: A UE may be configured to determine a size of the TB for transmission to a base station based on signaling received from the base station for configuration of at least one of a scale factor or a slot aggregation factor associated with size of the TB. The UE may be further configured to transmit, to the base station, information on the TB in at least one slot, the TB being of the determined size. The base station may be configured to transmit, to the UE, the signaling for configuration of at least one of a scale factor or a slot aggregation factor associated with a size of the TB to be used by the UE for transmission. The base station may be further configured to receive, from the UE, information on at least one TB having a size that is based on at least one of the scale factor or the slot aggregation factor.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable medium for wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first base station (BS) associated with a fifth generation New Radio (5G NR) radio access technology (RAT), a command of mobility from the 5G NR RAT to a second RAT. The UE may determine that the command of mobility is for voice fallback. The UE may transmit, to a second BS associated with the second RAT and based at least in part on determining that the command of mobility is for voice fallback, a radio resource control (RRC) connection request communication for attempting to communicatively connect with the second BS for voice fallback.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques and apparatus for efficient support of variable bit rate (VBR) voice traffic on LTE uplink. In an aspect, a base station may periodically schedule transmission resources for use by a user equipment (UE) for transmitting data on a logical channel, wherein the periodically scheduling grants the UE a fixed first transport block (TB) size of transmission resources at regular intervals, receive an indication from the UE of an amount of data for transmission on the logical channel, and adjust the fixed first TB size of the periodically scheduled transmission resources to a fixed second TB size based on the indicated amount of data. In another aspect, a base station may configure a UE to enable scheduling request masking (SR-masking) on a logical channel, and configure the UE with a threshold amount of data for the logical channel to dynamically disable SR-masking on the logical channel. In another aspect, a UE may receive a configuration to enable scheduling request (SR) masking (SR-masking) on a logical channel, receive a configuration of a threshold amount of data for the logical channel to dynamically disable SR-masking on the logical channel, and decide whether to transmit an SR based on the amount of data to transmit and the threshold amount.
