    Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position acquisition during connected mode, including associated protocols and signaling, are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) can include transmitting, to a non-terrestrial network unit, a capability indication, the capability indication indicating the UE is capable of performing a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position acquisition during a connected mode connection; receiving, from the non-terrestrial network unit, an indication of whether the non-terrestrial network unit will support the UE performing the GNSS position acquisition during the connected mode connection; and performing, based at least in part on the receiving the indication, the GNSS position acquisition during the connected mode connection with the non-terrestrial network unit.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information indicating a capability of the UE to receive multicast communications while operating in an inactive state. The UE may receive, from a first cell, configuration information that indicates a common frequency resource (CFR) associated with receiving multicast communications from the first cell while operating in the inactive state. The UE may receive, from the first cell, multicast mobility information associated with receiving multicast communications from one or more neighboring cells while operating in the inactive state. The UE may receive, while operating in the inactive state, one or more multicast communications from at least one of the first cell or a second cell based at least in part on at least one of the configuration information or the multicast mobility information.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating segment-based pre-compensated uplink signals in a non-terrestrial network. A method that may be performed the UE includes transmitting capability information indicating whether the UE needs time gaps between transmission segments associated with uplink signals to be transmitted by the UE in a non-terrestrial network (NTN), obtaining, based at least in part on the capability information, configuration information configuring the time gaps between the transmission segments associated with the uplink signals to be transmitted by the UE, and transmitting the uplink signals in one or more transmission segments based on the configuration information.
