摘要: A method is provided to track geolocations of multiple mobile location tracking enabled devices, each such device associated with at least one member of a group of subjects; one of the devices sends a map image of a real-world location and indicia of geofence to each of the other devices; each of multiple devices sends its geolocation to at least one other device in the group; the at least one device in the group displays the respective geolocations of the other devices relative to the map image and relative to the geofence image; an alert is generated by the at least one other device in the group in response to a determination that at least one of the devices in the group is disposed outside the geofence or within a prescribed distance from the geofence.

摘要: Video sources may be located on the Internet and particular videos at those sources may be selected for subsequent replay by using graphical controls provided, for example, in connection with a browser. These controls may permit the use of select, particular video segments for subsequent replay by adding them to a playlist. Then when the user has assembled the playlist in the order desired, the play of the playlist can be selected. The playlist video may then be displayed for the user on a remote display, such as a high definition television display. At the same time, the user's computer screen may display a control view which allows the user to view and add annotations and to control the play of a video on the high definition television screen.

摘要: An embodiment of the present invention provides a method of relationship characterization and utilization from a user's social network, comprising, using monitoring agents for the user's social network to create a unique profile of each contact in the social network by feeding data into a context aware framework, clustering raw data by extracting common interests and relevant keywords, thereby creating rich context-aware lists of keywords that characterize relationships among users of the social networks, and providing an interface to query the lists.

摘要: A method, device, and system for selecting one or more devices and users to capture and share images of an event with other users includes establishing one or more ad-hoc groups with a resource management server. The resource management server communicates with one or more computing devices over a network to assign the computing devices to an ad-hoc group as a function of one or more users requesting to receive images captured at an event. For each ad-hoc group, the resource management server selects a device and a user to capture images of the event, which are distributed to the one or more users. Additionally, the computing devices may establish an ad-hoc group without the resource management server. A computing device of the ad-hoc group is selected to capture images of the event, which are distributed to users of the ad-hoc group through an ad-hoc network.
