Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for integrating the online purchase of a product with the purchase of an insurance policy providing coverage for the product. When a customer initiates the purchase of a product through an online retailer, various aspects include obtaining personal information for the customer, as well as product information for the product. Based upon this information, various aspects may include determining whether the customer is eligible to purchase insurance, and assessing a level of risk in providing a particular type of insurance coverage to the customer. Additionally, various aspects may further include determining an insurance quote based upon this level of risk and transmitting an offer to purchase the insurance policy to the customer. The customer may then purchase the product and insurance policy in one transaction such that binding insurance coverage for the product is provided at the time of purchase.

Abstract: Systems and methods for capturing digital image data associated with a property for an insurance quote are described. According to certain aspects, a mobile device may enable a user to capture digital image data and/or a video stream and other information of house features and characteristics that may be used to determine insurability and estimated replacement cost of the property. The mobile device may enable the user to capture the information at the property location, which may eliminate the need for a manual assessment or characterization of home features by a homeowner. A back-end server may receive the data, analyze the data to generate an insurance quote (and/or insurance application) for the property, and transmit the insurance quote (and/or application) to the mobile device for presentation to the user. The mobile device may enable the user to select terms, deductibles, limits, and/or coverages, and ultimately approve a homeowner's insurance policy.

Abstract: A property analyzer device may include (1) a receiver configured to receive property identification information from a mobile device, the received property identification information including a picture of the property and/or a property location; (2) a retriever configured to retrieve property-related information from multiple property sources (such as public record databases, websites, or an internal company database) based upon the received property identification information; (3) a processor configured to consolidate the retrieved property-related information into a consolidated property-related image of the property; and (4) a transmitter configured to transmit the consolidated property-related image to the mobile device for review by a user. The mobile device may display the consolidated images that may include several images of the property taken over time (such as showing repairs or improvements made), home insurance quotes, home loan quotes, and other types of property-related or community information that home buyers or owners would find useful.

Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) system for generating and displaying an enhanced situation visualization (ESV) is provided. The AR system may include an ESV computing device, a user computing device operated by a user and a reference database. The user computing device may transmit a reference request message to the ESV device, the reference request message including an image representative of a current view of a user. The ESV computing device may determine a subject of the image, retrieve reference information associated with the subject from the reference database, and determine situation information specific to the subject. The reference and situation information may be displayed on the user computing device to provide an ESV of the subject. The ESV may be used for insurance-related activities, such as handling, adjusting, and/or generating homeowner's insurance claims, and/or for instructional guidance.

Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) system for generating and displaying a pre-disaster Enhanced Situation Visualization (ESV) is provided. Abstract: An insurance server for using a tokenized icon to provide an insurance quote or submit an insurance claim may include a processor programmed to receive an image from a user application, and data associated with the image, wherein at least a portion of the obtained data is associated as metadata with the tokenized icon. The processor may instruct the user application to use an icon associated with the tokenized icon as a first graphical object, and to modify, in response to an association of the first graphical object with a second graphical object in the user application, the metadata of the tokenized icon based upon data associated with the second graphical object. The processor may transmit the virtual quote or proposed insurance claim to the user application, the virtual quote or proposed insurance claim being based upon the modified metadata. As a result, the online customer experience may be enhanced.
