Based on the received synchronization signal, the node determines a time alignment configuration for uplink radio transmissions from the radio device to the wireless communication network. Based on the received synchronization signal, the node further determines Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request feedback information for at least one downlink radio transmission from the wireless communication network to the radio device (10). The node (100) indicates the determined time alignment configuration to the radio device (10). Based on the determined Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request feedback information, the node controls retransmission of the at least one downlink radio transmission.

摘要: A cellular network supports radio communication based on a first configuration which organizes a time-frequency space in first resource elements and radio communication based on a second configuration which organizes the time-frequency space in second resource elements and assigns at least one of the second resource elements to a utilization which is in conflict with the radio communication based on the first configuration. A node of the cellular network sends an indication to a communication device. The indication comprises time domain and/or frequency domain information for defining a pattern comprising at least one of the first resource elements which is to be disregarded by the communication device when performing radio communication with the cellular network based on the first configuration and/or the second configuration. The at least one first resource element of the pattern defines a first part of the time-frequency space which overlaps a second part of the time-frequency space defined by the at least one of the second resource elements.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for adjusting Radio Link Monitoring (RLM), Radio Link Failure (RLF) detection, RLF recovery, and/or connection establishment failure detection for wireless devices (16) in a cellular communications network (10) depending on mode of operation. In one embodiment, a node (14, 16) in the cellular communications network (10) determines whether a wireless device (16) (e.g., a Machine Type Communication (MTC) device) is to operate in a long range extension mode of operation or a normal mode of operation. The node (14, 16) then applies different values for at least one parameter depending on whether the wireless device (16) is to operate in the long range extension mode or the normal mode. The at least one parameter includes one or more RLM parameters, one or more RLF detection parameters, and/or one or more RLF recovery parameters. In doing do, signaling overhead and energy consumption within the wireless device (16) when operating in the long range extension mode is substantially reduced.

摘要: A method and a first node for handling a feedback procedure requiring transmission of feedback messages indicating either an acknowledgement, ACK, or a non-acknowledgement, NACK, of correct reception of data transmitted on a forward link in a radio communication with a second node in a radio network. The first node obtains a latency requirement of the radio communication corresponding to the time from transmission of the data until the data becomes outdated. The first node further applies a first transmission mode employing said feedback procedure when the latency requirement is above a latency threshold, and applies a second transmission mode omitting said feed back procedure when the latency requirement is below the latency threshold.

The first resources allow at least data having a first data period and a cyclic prefix having the first length to be received in a first period having a first predetermined duration; and the second resources allow at least data having a second data period and a cyclic prefix having the second length to be received in a second period having the second predetermined duration, and the second predetermined duration is an integer multiple of the first predetermined duration.
